My husband and I sat at the bar and were pleasantly surprised by the cocktail engineers helping us navigate our lunch. We started with drinks and an order of calamari; prices seemed high, but we are always willing to pay for superb experiences, after all, this is our first time in Charleston, thus our first time at Bar167. The place was packed; everyone was chatting with one another, along with the friendly staff. Between my husband and I, and the new friends we made, I think every cocktail on the specialty menu was made and sampled. The cocktail engineers were knowledgeable, attentive, and welcomed all the questions (no matter how dumb they were). We had the crab roll and the fish sandwich – did not disappoint! CAN I JUST TELL YOU, the damn Tzatziki Drink was unexpectedly amazballs. This was a great place, if we are ever in the area again, we will be there

Oysters were delicious and fresh, the crab linguine was amazing. Skip the lamb. Overall the food was good but the atmosphere was difficult. Bridal and birthday parties overtook the dining room we could not hear our server and didn’t talk most of the meal due to the noise.

The service was fabulous. My server was knowledgeable about the menu and worked with my dietary restrictions. The restaurant was charming, but more importantly, clean. Now on to what made this a location I would recommend, the food. It was really good. It was suggested that I try the Fattaoush ensaladas. It was flavorful. I devoured it! My friend had the Meze Platter, and she enjoyed her selection as well. I would recommend Bar 167.
We stopped in for quick drinks at the bar before dinner. The drinks and service were exceptional.

This is a great spot if you’re waiting to dine at their sister restaurant. Unfortunately, I booked a reservation on Resy, thinking they had actually opened another proper restaurant. I thought it was a little odd that there were so many open tables. But it’s because the food menu is very limited, since this place is mainly used as a bar for people waiting to dine at 167Raw. The food was very good! We had a wonderful seafood pasta and a burger. We had the calamari as well and it was just your basic calamari. Nothing to get excited about. It was our only night in the city, since we were in town to spend the week at IOP. And I usually love trying a new, fine dining establishment when we’re in town. But I’ve always been a huge 167 fan and got so excited that they had a new spot. A bit bummed that it wasn’t a full restaurant. But our server was great! And the food was very good.
