We tried a variety of tacos which were very good. It’s very cute inside and the spicy margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress, Bee, was very nice and attentive, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with ordering process.

We were in-town for a girls weekend and looking for great tacos & margs for lunch! I have been to the one in Tampa numerous times so I knew this would be a great choice. The staff was awesome and we felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. Got the regular marg, guacamole, street corn, and the chili-lime taco.

Great drinks, the old thymer was specifically good. We also got an assortment of tacos and were happy with all of them. We loved ordering the individual tacos so we could all try a bunch of different ones. The service was quick and so friendly.

We had such a great experience at bartaco! We tried a variety of tacos along with the chips and guac, and everything was delicious. The duck taco was the standout—absolutely incredible and a must-try. The service was just as impressive—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. For King Street, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

I don’t usually write reviews, but Bartaco deserves one, mostly because I think I found inner peace between bites of their tacos.
I was doing coke in a flooded basement surrounded by strangers. Then, like an angel, Derek, Bartaco’s manager appears. Not only did he bring me tacos, he brought hope.
Every single taco was so good I briefly forgot how to blink. The prices? Practically a public service for being downtown. The gluten-free options? So extensive even my wheat-averse cousin texted me a thank-you emoji she’s never used before.
The vibe was immaculate, part beachside chill, part divine intervention. Between the music, the lighting, and Derek’s hospitality, I left believing that maybe, just maybe, everything was going to be okay.
10/10 would recommend. Ask for Derek. And never underestimate the power of a well-timed taco. 🌮✨
A favorite meal on our trip to Charleston!!! We were ahead of the dinner rush. The restaurant has vibes - loved the decor!! Great location and delicious food! We had a superb server that took great care of us plus gave us a paper with her recommendations for our first visit to the area. We were glad they were very knowledgable about gluten free options and the food was flavorful and filling!

Worth the wait. Sat at two tables downstairs to accommodate our party of 11. Paper/QR menus that can be done with a waiter or all online. Can order as a group to share or individually. Only issue is food comes out as ready so some duos had food versus others nothing. No fault of theirs it is the way we ordered. Tacos, Non tacos, rice bowls, street corn to name a few. We had quac and chips, steak, chicken and pork tacos, all delicious. My favorite was the chicken tortilla soup. Amazing.

Last Wednesday we had lunch at Bartaco Such a great place , it was outstanding High quality of the tacos , the employees took so good care of us We actually decided to have dinner there the same evening Again they took great care of us , Derek and his team I wish they could open a bartaco in Sarasota were we live

In town for our anniversary, my wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a rainy Thursday, and we were very happy that we did. Food, service and vibe were all fantastic. Server and manager were helpful and welcoming, and the energy was great, even at a typically slower time on a dreary weekday. After we finished, we were getting ready to free up our table, as it was getting busier than expected. Our server and the manager told us to hang around for a minute, and brought us out a dessert for our anniversary. A really nice touch that made an already great experience even better.

I’ve been to various Bartaco restaurants around the country. This is by far the absolute worst. Trash old food that might just make you sick. Based on the food I just received delivery I’m calling the health inspector. Absolutely terrible.
