Visited this restaurant based upon a friend's suggestion. The food was amazing as well.as the service. We didn't eat in the restaurant as it is very small . There was a line to get in and it moved quickly. Definitely try this place if you are visiting Charleston.
Great establishment. Friendly staff. And the icing, free icey pops. The food is like your grandma's. Tasteful and takes you back when you felt the warm embrace of a home-cooked meal from grandma's.
Great experience at Bertha’s kitchen! From the minutes you walk in you know you are in a family establishment. Loved the pictures throughout. You know you will feel the love in the food as well. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We were even given Kool aid icee while waiting. The chicken and Mac and cheese were my favorites. Cornbread was good too. We will be back. ❤️
