We sat at the bar and got drinks. Bartender, Declan, was great. Gave us recommendations to visit in Charleston. He was super friendly to everyone and sociable. Great local beer selections. The staff was wonderful! Would definitely come back again. The vibe was it.
We just stopped here by chance as it was on the way to a tour we were taking. Great service, large portions, served hot, and priced right. Loved the fried shrimp basket. Go hungry, the portions are generous.
Stopped in to see the new Big John's. The owner did a nice job, the staff and menu is good. Kudos to the new owner, we wish him the best, although we'll always miss the original.
