Some of the best scallops I've had in Charleston, at a reasonable price, and they actually serve vegetables, rice and a delectable sauce with it, unlike most restaurants that give you little to nothing extra. My husband loved his steak au poivre. The bread was fantastic. Bartender & hostess were personable & friendly, and the manager checked on us twice. We will definitely return soon!
2nd time at Mercy of the Chef diiner. Amazing experience again. Food & wine were excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable service, and chef comes out to answer questions. Bar seating lends to a convivial atmosphere with the other diners. One of my favorite dining experiences in Charleston!
My husband and I attended the Thursday night Mercy of the Chef. It was fantastic as always. We love the fact that we don't know what our dishes and wines will be as part of the 4 course wine pairing dinner. The staff is wonderful with Kristin behind the bar, Brendan the manager and Chef Jim with his amazing takes on French bistro cuisine. Highly recommend. We definitely will be back!
