I love this place! My church is in the same shopping center, and a bunch of us go over after church for the most delightful lunches. I love the bialys (toasted with butter, mmm) and the French press coffee but many of my friends swear by the salmon lox bagel sandwich. I'm also on Blazing Star's challah list - their challah bread is SO delicious. But the very best part is the staff: we all adore Bettina (co-founder) and everyone who works there is wonderful. Just the best place to enjoy a relaxed conversation with friends (and the staff!) while cared for by the kindest staff ever. Highly recommended!Wheelchair accessibility: We took a friend to lunch here and he had no problem at all maneuvering around in his wheelchair.

We have been looking for house-made gluten free bagels for a while and this was so good.We had a gluten free bagel with salmon, capers, pickled onions and a regular rosemary salt. Then I got a chocolate babka for later.Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was so calm but not sleepy. It would be a place someone could sit and get some work done or have a nice, long chat with a friend. At the end we got a bowl of matzo ball soup to take to a friend that is sick. I'm sure it was just as delicious as the rest of the food.I'll probably be back there next week end.Dietary restrictions: house made gluten free bagels. Vegan and vegetarian options for toppings.Kid-friendliness: Lots of books around and many of those were kids books. Plus the food by nature is kid friendly.

Had the pleasure of doing a gigpro here. Owner is super lovely women… helpful and informative and the salmon bagel was absolutely delicious. I will be back on my days off for breakfast.
Truly delightful! The lox bagel was to die for with a fun twist of pickled red onion instead of raw. Tomatoes were SO delicious, especially for late January!! Scallion cream cheese was fresh and tangy. Coffees are strong and fresh. Bagels are perfectly chewy and baked fresh. Staff was helpful, kind and friendly. Even showed my 3 year old where to find kids’ books to look at. The peanut butter cookie sandwich was a hit with the whole family!Kid-friendliness: A little book nook and yummy kid friendly options on the menu with OJ that has a lid! IYKYK when it comes to restaurant drink spills and kids

We are grateful for such a delicious deli right in our backyard. I’m still dreaming of the lox bagel— and will not ever be able to leave their shop without also ordering their babka. Thank you for making us feel like family!

Food was pretty good. Homemade gluten free bagel was a plus even if it was a little chewy. Definitely recommend getting it toasted. Not a ton of meat options for the egg n cheese sandwich but the Turkey bacon was very good.Dietary restrictions: Homemade gluten free bagels
