The burger was tremendous, the draft beer was warm but the bartenders were great.

The hostess was new and she did not notify our server that they had a table
But once we had a server he was on top of his game and was phenomenal
We were definitely not disappointed
The food was delicious

Honestly, Charleston has plenty of bars where you can get a decent drink, feel welcomed, and not be treated like a stray dog that wandered in. Fortunately, this is one of them. If you’re into being respected and never judged based on how you look by a bartender who himself resembles the product of a true standup gentleman, then by all means, pull up a chair.
But let me tell you what absolutely floored me:
The staff here thinks it’s appropriate to label their paying customers with funny nicknames on the actual receipt.
Not only do they type it in, but they have the humor to print it out and hand it directly to the customer.
Make it make sense. Not only are they silly, but they’re also too thoughtful to realize they’ve literally created a paper trail of their own professionalism. In 2025, when one TikTok can show off your amazing reputation faster than the most amazing cocktails here hit, you’d think management might invest in more cool merch, I don’t know, actually try not being the coolest pub in town?
Let’s pause here: you’re in the hospitality industry. Your one job, your ONLY job, is to make people feel welcome and valued…And you friggen’ nailed it!
Charleston should be honored that Blind Tiger exists here. There are dozens of spots in this city where the drinks are weaker, the vibes are worst, and the bartenders don’t act like your friends. Save yourself the time, money, and secondhand embarrassment...just come to Blind Tiger!
EDIT: ATTACHED PICS OF THE BARTENDER WHO MADE THE COMMENT AND PROOF! Also, I'd say I should have tipped more than 25%, William absolutely deserves it!

Love this place and always has the best atmosphere for a day drinks or grabbing a bite and sitting on their Charleston-esque patio. Great local staff, and easily the most decorated spot to go on the holidays. Since this rude Julie person posted a 1-star review below, that’s completely inaccurate, I had to look after one of my all time favorite spots! I’ve been meaning to post a review, so I suppose this is the best time. She ain’t gonna mess up the restaurants great 4+ star rating on my watch! Julie… you owe that bartender an apology & a bigger tip.

Make it make sense. Not only are they offensive, but they’re also too stupid to realize they’ve literally created a paper trail of their own unprofessionalism. In 2025, when one TikTok can tank your reputation faster than your weak cocktails hit, you’d think management might invest in training staff to, I don’t know, actually practice hospitality?
Let’s pause here: you’re in the hospitality industry. Your one job, your ONLY job, is to make people feel welcome and valued. Instead, you’ve chosen to staff your bar with people who clearly hate their lives and want to take it out on paying patrons.
Charleston deserves better. There are dozens of spots in this city where the drinks are stronger, the vibes are better, and the bartenders don’t act like middle school bullies with access to a cash register. Save yourself the time, money, and secondhand embarrassment... go literally anywhere else.

Super chill place, good food and service. My girlfriend got a salad and she said it’s the best salad she has ever had. The burger is also super good, and the parm fries are perfect. Everyone was super nice and I would recommend this place to anyone.

We stumbled in on a Friday around 11:30am. It was fairly empty, which is what we were looking for...a break from downtown crowds!
🍹 I have the Watermelon Sugar High, without the aperol (I'm not a fan). It was clear that the aferral is what gave this drink its color, but I didn't miss it! It was still very refreshing and hit the spot.
🍺 Hubby had the Low Tide Carolina Creamsicle, which I enjoyed too! It's a sour but not too sour with a sweet twist.
🍽️ We shared the Tuna Poke Nachos, which were also very refreshing on this hot day. The mango paired well with the rest of the flavors and these nachos and I also enjoyed the cilantro!
🍽️ We also shared the Truffle Duck Sandwich. This was my first time ever having duck, let alone duck confit, and I have to say that it was pretty darn good! The sweetness from the Hawaiian bread carrot perfectly with a saltiness of the duck, and the hints of pepper from the arugula. Of course, anything with truffle is a bonus. 🤣 We also had the parmesan truffle fries as a side... And they were perfectly seasoned all the way to the last fry!
There is a spacious patio in the back that would be perfect for cooler weather days. The service was quick and friendly, as well. We will be back!

We went on a rainy Satruday afternoon and had a great time. William was our bartender and brought ALL the personality. It was a great time, the beers were delicious, and the food looked amazing. Although we didn't eat this time around, we've eaten here before. Great bar, better company!

Service took kinda forever but food was so good. Expensive but there’s a few menu items that are a good price for what you are getting.
