I am very disappointed with this meal.. this looked nothing like the breakfast sandwich that’s was listed online. I will list the sandwich that’s shown online vs mine!!!! I couldn’t take this sandwich back inside because I was currently on the way to class!! If I could I most def would have!! Called to speak with a manager and got no answer!! I would say this is def FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!

Sandwiches with good ingredients badly prepared. (Bread burned, old croissants, frozen chicken breasts)

Absolutely loved this place! Service was amazing, we had such a lovely waitress that made our breakfast the all more enjoyable. Latte and Matcha were delightful. Our door seating was refreshing and nice to sit at. Our breakfast sandwiches were also very tasty and fresh. Definitely recommend checking this place out for brunch.

I’m giving the food 5 stars because it really is good. But I do notice that Sundays aren’t the best day, I think the workers are hungover and a little forgetful. I understand. Not a big deal. Just be aware that you could be ignored if you sit at the bar. This service isn’t for everyone!

Our server Miles was awesome. He answered all of our questions throughly and provided great service. He even made a comment at the end of our experience saying “you guys made my day better”. People like him make places special!

Plastic cups and sticky floors. Good for a bender if you are of a certain age.

Wanted to love this place because my friend highly recommended it, but we were extremely let down this time. We waited far too long to be sat down and even longer for the waitress, who walked back and forth and looked at us multiple times, to even be waited on. We waited 15 minutes (honestly probably more) until we had to tell the hostess that we hadn’t been waited on while others were. Mind you, the place was not busy at all so it made no sense as to why there was such a delay. Food finally came out and it wasn’t even that good. Not a fan and won’t be back.

Sandwiches were fire! Coffee was great too. It was cold the morning we went so the interior of the restaurant was less comfortable than we wanted it to be. Very clean bathrooms.

Worst service in my life . We were sat with attitude then waited 25min while servers bartenders and hosts walked by us. I ended up ordering my self then finally was asked “ has anyone taken your order” I said no we ordered ourselves because we waited 30 min. The host walked away and not another word was said to us. The rest of the staff kept on joking and playing an around with each other. The manager didn’t even look at us or attempt to say anything.

Tried the gropfather sandwich and the palmer iced coffee. The palmer was delicious! Perfect blend of coffee and lemonade for a tasty daytime drink. The gropfather tasted very good but the chicken cutlet was a little rough making it hard to chew, not for the sensitive teeth!

Small, fun sandwich and salad shop in the heart of Charleston. Artwork is inviting. We ordered at the bar and had iced lattes and spinach salad with smoked salmon. The wait staff were cheery and super helpful with our questions. The food was excellent, with a tart/sweet sauce. The salad had sugared pecans, strawberries, blueberries (among my favorite three things in the world) plus red onions and the very tasty salmon. The coffees were strong but not overly so, giving us the needed jolt to continue a busy day. We were happy to stumble upon this little place!

I stopped into Bodega CHS and unfortunately it was a let-down. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took far too long to get my food. I ordered the CBB sandwich—it wasn’t bad, but nothing memorable either. Service was very sub-par: my server only came by three times during the entire hour I was there. Someone else brought my food and I eventually had to flag down a different server just to get my check. The side-alley setting is cute, but with so many fantastic spots in Charleston, this one just doesn’t measure up. I should have heeded the reviews.
