Finger-lickin' good chicken sammies! I ordered the Chicken "Not So Waffle" sandwich with fried chicken and fried pickled green tomatoes. I didn't prefer the pickled friend green tomatoes, but they would be good, if you like yours pickled. Highly recommend this spot for a quick and tasty meal.

We love Boxcar Betty’s. No trip to Charleston to see our granddaughter and those people she lives with is complete without going. My 6 yr old granddaughter loves it. We took her Friday while my son and daughter in law were at a wedding rehearsal. And she asked what they were eating and she said I bet they wish they had Boxcar Betty’s instead cause “ain’t nothing better than Boxcar Betty’s”. Right Nana Cheryl? You bet baby girl!

Don’t judge the exterior, the chicken is some of the best I have had. Got the buffalo chicken sandwich, so delicious and the fries are fresh cut. Everyone loved their food.

Excellent Fries! The Chicken and Beef both tasted very fresh. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and was fully cooked without being dried out. The Smash Burger was not paper thin. Very good. Free Refills on drinks. Housemade Pickles!

Hopefully I don’t misspell her name but Ms. lacrystal who works at the front counter has been nothing but friendly and greeted us with a smile the three times we have been here the past few weeks. The food has all been fresh and the atmosphere has been clean. Definitely will continue to dine here when I’m working in the area!

This has been a go to visit while in town visiting. We have visited the Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston and the West Ashley sites and we have always had a positive experience with well prepared and great tasting food.
One of my favorite restaurants ever. Food is to die for, service is great, atmosphere is great. I recommend the fried chicken sandwich with beer cheese and bacon jam and whatever else you like for toppings.
