Brasserie La Banquet is a terrific French restaurant. Wife and I had Lyonnaise and Beet salads with steak frites (filet). The food and service were amazing. The restaurant is open kitchen concept, with nice romantic decor. A short walk from the city center, but neighborhoods are charming and safe, even at night. I highly recommend.
I had a great time, the food and drinks were phenomenal, and the bartender Avery took great care of me and was really fun to chat with!
This is a great place to come and spend your special occasion! Great food! Order the Escargot! They make you feel so special. Our server was fantastic. A fave French food place!
Hailey our server was the best that we had on our 4 day trip in Charleston. She made us feel very special on our anniversary trip and was very efficient. The cocktails that we ordered needed tweaking and could have been better but EVERYTHING else was spot on. We will definitely return on our next trip to Charleston.
Amazing experience. Our server was friendly and made great suggestions. Started with oysters and the smoked fish dip both of which were delicious. I had the scallops which I highly recommend. We finished with the crepe cake which was tasty but heavy.
Excellent meals all around, the service was exceptional. We asked for recommendations from our server and they were spot on. She was wonderful. Highly recommend
Brasserie La Banque was such a surprise find. We were across the street at a quaint liquor store called the Tavern at Rainbow Row; the storekeeper directed us to a speakeasy below BLB to sample a local whiskey they sold at the shop. We stumbled on the upstairs restaurant as we were leaving. We made dinner reservations on the spot for later that evening. The ambiance is lovely mood lighting and soft Parisian background music. The service was just right, a few timely check-ins. The food was fresh, well presented and delicious. We ordered french onion soup, lyonnaise salad, beet salad, a burger and coquilles saint-Jacques.
Outstanding meals all around, our server was wonderful, making very good recommendations and she came through. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, we.werenot rushed at all. Highly recommend Brasserie la Banque
What an amazing place , from the ambience to the service. Kristen is a very welcoming and attentive server , who made us feel very special and obviously cares about this place and the food she is serving. Sam the GM came out and greeted us and was very professional. The food was perfectly seasoned well thought out and the plating was modern and fun. Thank you to the team at brasserie la banque !
My husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary there and it was an incredible experience. We splurged with the caviar flight -and apparently I now like caviar! I had the gnocchi and it melted in my mouth. I've never had gnocchi like this before. My husband had the scallops, which he loved. The waitstaff were so kind and thoughtful and informative, as well. Everything was perfection and it was a memorable experience.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a special anniversary. The check in person acknowledged the occasion, but never told the staff. However when I mentioned the occasion to the manager, he surprised us with great desert after dinner. Food and service were exceptional. The music selections were varied and not necessarily conducive to those trying to havie. a conversation. I would definitely go to Brasserie Banquet again.
The chef has created a phenomenal French menu and a very inviting environment. The steak is wonderful.
An overall incredible evening, owing to this French brasserie’s cozy ambiance and menu. We were greeted with real hospitality, grabbed an amazing seat at the chef’s table, and relaxed with several very well made craft cocktails. The entire wait staff were very friendly and helpful to us all evening. We’d recommend the French onion soup, frisée salad, delicious bread & butter service, steak frites (great aioli sauce!), mussel frites (great white wine sauce!), amazing sautéed carrots, duck breast with cassoulet, and closed with a delicious chocolate mousse tart. Moreover, the French wine list hit all of our requirements. We can’t wait to visit again…
Hayley went over and above as our waitress and the food was fantastic... their croissants are amazing, the omelet was delish and even the potatoes were perfect. The quiche Lorraine was great... overall, couldn't be better and will go back when in the area again
It was to celebrate a birthday and we were treated like royalty. It is our new favorite French restaurant in Charleston. I do wish the lobster bisque was still on the menu like it was during restaurant week. Otherwise our meal was flawless, right down to the birthday card signed by the staff.
