Seems like staff is very drunk every time we go. Almost always empty and service still not good. Food OK, might return for pizza.
Good stop
Giant pretzel has me twisted. Vibes & drinks are top notch. 😎👌🏼👏🏼
Drinks and food were excellent. Can’t recommend the pepperoni chips enough. 10/10
Great atmosphere and team
Used to visit often but it has changed a lot... we would go for select staff which we recently found out have left... disappointing yet understandable, though overall geniality/service has gone way down. Not sure what changes they have undergone but we do not find it worth it anymore to make the trip. Not sure why they advertise their M AGA politics either -- very strange business move and it brings in an odd crowd.... unless that is the intention? On a positive note: hazy IPA is good and location can be good although very weather dependent.
Mrs. and I had a pleasant evening at Over the Horizon and because they're part of an RV hospitality program, we were able to spend the night. Hooray for a third beer because I don't have to drive.
We arrived after our dinner in Mount Pleasant so we didn't have any dinner here. Just drinks and relaxation after driving all day.
A warm welcome, some tasty brews and a quiet night. The back room was quite peaceful from the noise of the music. They could use some more power outlets along the wall but otherwise, no complaints!
Over the Horizon brewery ranks in my top three in the Charleston area.It may just be my favorite overall. And that's saying something because the beer scene in Charleston is amazing and very competitive. Founded and run by combat veterans and citadel alum, it has become a fixture in the local Charleston scene. The beer is amazing and inventive with names that highlight the local area. And even the food is good, which most bar food is terrible. The owners are congenial and regularly come out and chat with the customers. They have a cool upstairs room with lots of military memorabilia, which is a great spot to host a reunion or veteran get together. They also have a really cool outdoor area that is a great venue for music and networking event. My favorite fixture though, has to be the memorial wall of fallen Citadel alums who died in the line of duty. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend checking this brewery out.
This is a veteran owned establishment. Service memorabilia hanging on the walls, great atmosphere. Great local beer and bar menu. On-site free parking. Even a resident dog named Booker. Great place to wind down after a long day at work or to catch up with friends. I highly recommend the Detroit style pizza and the margarita, IPA, seltzers, and the other local beers. There’s even an ice cream shop attached to the building.
Hanley, Meghan and Nick were great. This place has a great atmosphere and the bands are amazing. Bluegrass Friday’s are so fun and it’s a great place to watch football

When a local worker someone that happened to be handicap, whom is giving service to your establishment, shows up in the pouring rain to deliver your goods and he is thirsty and he ask the bar server for a togo coke ,
He was charged for 2 small cokes5$??? It wasn't even togo cups. It was flat watered down crap. Remember when you work hard and open the Black book your tip is in. Remember the karma. You should be ashamed of your self. But I will remind my 20k followers in Charleston of your awesomeness. Garcias
Small glass of coke, no refills- $6.66. Not only that it tasted like diet. No A/C.
Great atmosphere, great staff and good beer selection.
Great beer and great service! Pizza and Greek salad also very good!
We had a great time. The food was good, bingo was fun and there were lots of drink options. Plus, there is an ice cream place connected to the brewery.
