Yes, Bumpa was a lefty. Locally sourced, corn-fed beef that is pan-seared and butter-basted with garlic and fresh herbs, double patties dressed with secret sauce, pickled red onions, lettuce, tomato, and your choice of cheese. Served on a soft kaiser. Add bacon for $1.
The Mayor
Golden, crispy, fried chicken breast, salted tomato, bread & butter pickles, duke's mayo. I like the sound of that. Served on a soft kaiser. Feeling scandalous? Toss your chicken with our house made BBQ or Buffalo sauce.

The southpaw reimagined. Double patties, peppered bacon, tillamook cheddar, black pepper egg, lettuce, tomato and onion.

Food was good. The create your own loaded French fries plate was good and portion of fries were huge. Cocktail menu wasn't great, but that's a common problem in Charleston.

To be clear, this is not a “gastropub”, it’s a bar. Burgers were ok, fish and chips was heavy on the batter and grease. Order of fries was HUGE, with tons of toppings- best thing we had. Service was great. If you are looking for beer and pub food, it’s not a terrible place.

Great experience in an Irish Pub setting, inspired by the travles of the founder's grandfather. I came for the Scotch Egg, but the signature experience is their fries. With portions large enough for a family of 4, and what seems to be a limitless combination of ingredients, the fries are the marquee act. Their variety of mixed drinks is good as well.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Service is fast. Location is convenient to the waterfront and the downtown Charleston...
