Terrible. Used to be great many yrs ago but id rather go to a Panda Express than go to back. Server (forgot about us being there when we were the ONLY ones there on a Sat. Night) so yeah I give their food a 0 and there service a 1 only because there is no 0 rating. Used to be good! What a shame:

This is my #1 go to place in west ashley! GRACE and her lovely handpicked staff make you a regular. Perfect balance of professionalism and fun! 10/10 recommend rasta roll, rainbow roll, and hibachi filet! They know what they are doing

3 Adults & 1 eight year old - 11:50 a.m. on a Wednesday - we were the only people in the restaurant. We had to repeatedly ask for water, ice tea, appetizers, cutlery, napkins, etc. The Sushi was just okay (I've had better). This was my second visit to this restaurant (last visit being more than 5 years ago)! Now I remember why I hadn't been back in so long! I don't plan to go back. I'll go somewhere that appreciates my money⁉️

This is our absolute go to for sushi for the last 12 years! They have maintained awesome staff and service, and the quality of their food is unmatched! You will not find this quality for their prices anywhere around the Charleston area, believe me we have tried them all!

Wow this place has went so downhill. Came in because we used to live in west Ashley and loved it. We came in to set down to get some food at 5 pm. There was a total of 4 tables there and we never once was told anything or offered drink orders or anything after sitting there for 10 mins. All the employees saw us and knew we hadn’t been helped. Could hear all of them worried about the people at the bar which was like 3 people. We finally got up to leave because obviously they didn’t want us there. Finally when we were walking out we were told oh I was about to come over there. We still left because how you going to notice me when I’m walking out. Went next door to Jersey Mike’s and had wonderful service and great food. To much way better competition for them to be this bad!

Their sushi is delicious, and the seaweed does not have the same off-putting smell that others seem to have. Crab Crunch and a Cucumber Roll are my two favorites. Give them a chance, especially if you are hesitant, they will change your mind.

Dark bar vibe. Japanese restaurant in a strip mall off 526 near Savannah Hwy Charleston SC. Ordered calamari as an appetizer just to see how authentic the food is. Asked for a special drink to test the waitress/bartender/receptionist. It’s South Carolina at midday. Sometimes letting it slip I’m doing a review works in my favor. Not so sure this time. To be honest, I was hoping for the Thai food next-door, but I’ll take what I can get. Small tenderloin chunks not overdone. Nice. Taste very American. But then again I am not really in Japan ?

How is steak soggy? The steak or shrimp wasn’t seasoned at all. I ordered online and they didn’t start my order until I got there, so what’s the purpose of online ordering? I ordered a lot of food for them to stuff it all in a small brown bag but everyone else that came to pick up an order got a brown bag with a handle. I asked the guy to separate the white sauce for me because he put it in a container the soup comes in and he rolls his eyes. Told him thank you and he rolls his eyes again and walks off. Definitely gives lazy racist vibes.

I always get my hibachi fix here, always perfectly made and it all taste delicious. The sushi is always perfect as well. It's my number one go to place for good food. Even though I usually get take out the service is always excellent and the staff is very thoughtful and caring. Wonderful establishment. :)
