I came to Lauren with a very personal request, to recreate the vintage-style wedding cakes of my late grandfathers and my husband’s parents. Our wedding cake wasn't only beautiful but also DELICIOUS. She was very accommodating with letting us pick up a tasking box during a busy weekend since we are from out of town and were only in Charleston for a couple days. The cake was so great on the wedding day and presentation was perfect. Happily enjoyed leftovers the next day. Would highly recommend!

Have you ever seen a more perfect wedding cake?! I am so happy I found The Cake Stand in Charleston! The outside of the cake turned out exactly as I envisioned, and the top tier is even gluten-free. Beautiful on the outside and delicious on the inside! Our guests loved picking out their slices since each tier had a different flavor. My husband and I had so much fun tasting all the flavor options, and Lauren and Will made the process easy. I cannot recommend The Cake Stand enough!

She was super kind, quick to respond, and very helpful in planning which flavors go together the best. We wanted a small cutting cake, but also wanted small cupcakes for our guests to have and take home with. They were an absolute hit! Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted. The Cake Stand made our wedding cake this past weekend and we cannot thank them enough!! Not only was the cake delicious (everyone was raving about it) but it was also decorated beautifully too. Lauren and her husband kept an eye on the humidity forecast and recommended we change the planned design to our backup option because of how high the humidity would be and honestly, I love how it turned out! It was so beautiful and fit perfectly in our decor.
Flavor-wise, we opted for lemon cake with cream cheese frosting (as a filling) and strawberry filling and it was just so delicious.
Their pricing was also amazing.
Just cannot say enough good things. If you're looking for a baker, definitely consider this husband-wife duo!!
