Went for the afternoon tea with my 13 year old daughter, we absolutely loved our experience. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was gorgeous and upscale, and the food and tea were great. We had some food allergies to work around, and the chef did an amazing job of providing aesthetically pleasing, tasty options for us. It was a fun experience and would recommend it to anyone traveling with their teen daughter!
The ambiance was in matched. A perfect place to celebrate with my tea loving daughter. We weren't huge fans of the savory food. They do ask about preferences but unbeknownst to us, there was quite a bit of seafood. Had I known seafood at tea was a thing, I would have asked for alternatives. We had a blast and our server was great!
The service here is some of the best in Charleston. I cannot say enough great things about the wait staff. They made our high tea experience perfect.
My mom, daughter, and I had the nicest time at the tea at Camellia's. Our service was wonderful, the setting was beautiful, with so many beautiful details. The tea selection was great, and the food was all lovely. I think this is appropriate for all ages, as I saw kids as small as 5 up to grandmothers in their 90's. What a lovely experience!
Camellia's was the perfect place to host my birthday tea for 6. The atmosphere is elevated, the food is delicious, and the tea variety is flavorful. The service was excellent and the photos turned out beautifully. I also had my bridal shower here 2 years ago and it was equally as magical.
Afternoon tea at Camellias was a dream! The decor is stunning, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating—especially with our guest of honor's severe citrus allergy. They ensured everyone had a safe and special experience. The tea selection was lovely, and the food was both beautiful and delicious. A perfect, elegant outing in Charleston—we can't wait to return!
Sophisticated and elegant afternoon tea in the plush and shimmering surroundings of Camellia. The service is especially polite and gracious.
First time doing an afternoon tea so the host and hostess where very informative and helped us along. Beautiful room with pink and gold. Though it is a little pricey it was fun informative and delicious.
Mother's Day event was amazing. Wonderful service and atmosphere. As an adult, loved the variety of food but perhaps less appealing for children. Tea selections were nice
Such a lovely tea experience! The food was delicious, and I really appreciated how accommodating they were with dairy-free and gluten-free options. The decor was beautiful, and I'll definitely be back!

We had such a lovely time during our girls weekend! The tea, sandwiches, desserts and of course champagne were perfect. We all enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!
One of the best Charleston experiences!! Highly recommend if you want something that is fun in a beautiful space!
This was my favorite thing we did for Easter weekend! So much fun! So girly! Beautiful atmosphere! Food and tea were amazing! Staff was so nice!! I can't wait to go back!
This is one of the few venues in the Southeast that offers the traditional high tea and champagne service. The location and ambiance are unbeatable. One of the most beautiful tea rooms I've seen. The service is exceptional. The pacing of the tea service was perfect. Both savory and sweet trays were provided. The food quality was a bit hot and miss (e.g. the bread in the beef round sandwich was a bit stale and the salmon cucumber sandwich seemed to have sat out too long before service) but these are nit-picky issues that did not distract from the overall experience. Strongly recommend.
Went with my college-age daughter. We were very impressed with the service and quality of the food. We love the decor and ambiance. It is a bit pricey, but overall, we highly recommend it.
