The beer list was ok. Had only one Hazy IPA on draft and it had kicked after or when we ordered it. The waitress tried to sub a West Coast IPA instead. Had a Watermelon Sour Ale that was good. I wish there was a better selection. Did not want a 10% stout on a day in the high 80s. Not much snack foods available. We didn't want anything large and also wanted something we could share with the kids.

An original buffalo resident here- I’ve lived in CA and Texas for 5 years now, and I’ve been on the hunt for chicken wings like back home- this is your spot! Some of the best wings I’ve had in a very long time and lots of beer options too!

Finished the Bridge Run and wanted to run in for some drinks and food. I got told by the 22 year old “bouncer” that I wasn’t allowed in because I was in a sports bra (that came down to my waist). Apparently it is the “owner’s policy” and when asked how it is different than a crop top that they let in to the bar every night the response was “well where do you draw the line?” I did see him get berated by multiple groups of girls as I passed by going the opposite way. Do better.
Mauri, Alison, Lorena dream team. We had a blast at Beer Works. So personal... the team was great!!! Can't wait to come back. Everyone who comes to Charleston needs to come to this bar/ restraunt.

Not expecting much Thursday a day after New Years. Got help selecting beers and tasting a ton before I made my decisions. Made for a great experience…and then the pretzel came out. HOLY. SMOKES. The pretzel is from Saffron bakery and almost croissant-like. Slight crisp on the outside and airy middle. Nice salt. The mustard is the perfect tart. Cheese was great as well but I’m more of a mustard guy. Wife even found a beer she loved as well with staff help. Thank you CBWs!

Good service good food but they couldn’t sell me a muffin because it was after 1030am and that is part of breakfast. So are they going to let those 20 muffins sit till tomorrow? How fresh will they be l?

Best beer and best wait staff in Charleston! Maury, Julia, Alexis, Mary, Kristen, Lorena and Dani were amazing! Not sure if it’s relevant but Maury has the best calves in Charleston!
