Charleston Coffee Exchange

The past 3 times I’ve been here have been disappointing. The food & beverage is blah and the service is ok. This past time I bought a caramel latte and it was terrible. I’m not sure if it was the milk or caramel flavoring but it was rancid tasting. Of course, I didn’t have time to go back to have them remake. I will not be giving them another chance after this. I do not recommend. Starbucks is not far up Bees Ferry so that’s where I’ll be going.

I love this place. I refer to it as my home away from home because I am in there 3 to 4 times a week. The staff is wonderful, management is wonderful, which makes the vibe very nice. I do a lot of work on my PC, it is a good change of pace from working at home and I meet several of my clients there. It does get busy on the weekends, but it is worth the wait in line. They have the best coffee and the prices are very reasonable. The scones are amazing.

Delicious coffee, will definitely return next time in the Charleston area. The E2M coffee blends (which I ground and tried at home) were very good and had great flavors. At the shop I tried a Honey Latte which was delicious, very well made so it wasn't a bunch of syrup at the bottom or overly sweet.

Recently discovered this place and they have the BEST matcha, add the brown sugar syrup and it compliments it. And all the pastries look delicious.

I’ve always had a good experience here until today. And unfortunately, I think it was with the owner. She was condescending when I asked a question about the seasonal menu and made a snide comment about what I selected. It was just unnecessary. I know the service industry is hard, but you can’t use your customers as a catchall for stuff that might be happening outside of work
