New servers and bartenders every time you come in. Lazy and inexperienced. Slow unorganized service and donāt even know how to make drinks. I had to tell one of their bartenders what a Moscow Mule was and how to make it.. very basic drink. 30 minutes just to get a menu. Pay good employees to stay.

Ordered the double smash burger and fries to go so I canāt speak on the ambience but GAT DANG. Both had potential to be good, fries and patties were cooked well but someone went crazy with the seasoning and made the whole thing inedible. It seriously ruined the food completely, you couldnāt taste anything beyond salt and pepper.

Charleston Sports Pub is one of my favorite bar chains, and no matter which location I visit, the experience is consistently special for the same reason: they seem to hire people with huge hearts and incredible work ethic. The staff work hard every day, often for not nearly enough, and as regulars I hope we do our part to make them feel appreciated.
I used to live in Ladson and was a regular at the Summerville location, and now Iām a regular at the James Island location. What stands out to me most is how genuine the staff are. They notice when Iām not myself, when Iām quieter than usual or seem a little down, and they take the time to stop and make sure Iām okay. That kind of kindness is a big deal, and it stays with people.
To me, that reflects something bigger about Charleston itself. Part of the charm of Charleston, South Carolina is that people here truly care about one another, and they show it through their actions. Thatās rare, and itās one of the reasons I love living here. Even as a New Yorker, the āCharleston wayā has always felt right to meāloving people, looking out for each other, and making kindness part of everyday life.
Charleston Sports Pub, and the amazing people who work there, are a real part of that culture. Their kindness goes a long way, and it deserves to be recognized. š

We have been coming here for 8 years and the last couple have gone downhill! Running out of food, food coming out late and cold! Maybe if the GM Curtis was more involved with the restaurant and not being a customer would make the experience more enjoyable! We are not returning and we are locals that spend money!

The bird dog fries at this location was really good. Service wasnāt bad. The ambiance was great all the closed caption TVs, helmets and other things on the walls. They actually the drink that i ordered. The sweet and spicy chilli wings I ordered were super big I donāt prefer big chicken as wings on the side. They had great games playing and the customers were loaded with cheer! Parking is not easy to find on a Saturday I noticed.

We go to this location regularly, but were super happy to see they were opening early at 8am for the USA menās hockey game! great place to watch the USA bring home the gold. They also have the best Bird Dog Fries & always love their quesadillas
