This was on the top of our list to head to for the afternoon.and it is the cutest place. We ordered drinks, paid and tipped upfront, unfortunately once the transaction action was done the barmaid became distant, rude, obnoxious and even antagonistic. It was a chilly day today and it was very cozy inside but she opened the doors to cool the place down and we mentioned our discomfort and she told us she had a heater behind the bar. She then proceeded to run next door and we left with our canned beverages. Super disappointed as this was at the top of our list along with the whole alley dining experience.

We stopped in for a drink. Theresa was rude, sarcastic and since we were not leaving quick enough - decided to turn up the music volume and opened the door when it was cold and rainy outside. Will not go back again

Eddie is fantastic and a great salesman. This place is awesome! I played Jenga with some folks from Nebraska and chatted with a couple from Boston. The hushpuppies were delicious. It’s a great spot to relax before The Elovaters concert at The Charleston Music Hall. Definitely stop by the alley; you won’t regret it!
The bartender Teresa made my stressed out day wonderfulmade me feel like a person again.
Thank you Teresa

Horrible service. Server acted like we were inconveniencing her. Super rude and all around would never go back. Would never suggest anyone stop here.

We went to this bar to grab a drink and the bar tender was horrible. She wasn’t able to explain any beer, was quiet and almost inaudible when we asked questions, and just had a blah bad attitude. I was taking a video of the bar and she asked me to delete it because she was in it and made a comment like “you should ask people before you video them” (which I understand where she is coming from) BUT DONT WORK AT A BAR THEN. Especially a bar that is very unique. She ruined my mood and I would not come back because of this reason.

Was running around CHS and realized where I was… Charleston’s Smallest Bar!!! Sweet!!! Have loved this place in the past and loved sharing memories here with family and friends. When I got close down the alley, I snapped a quick picture of the sign “Worlds Smallest Bar” to send to a friend with a “wish you were here message”. Boy, was that the wrong thing to do. I ran inside with a smile on my face to be greeted with a rude woman working the bar claiming I was taking photographs of her. I said “what?” kind of in shock with her behavior… I said “no, of course not, just taking a photo of the bar sign.” I mean, we are at one of the top tourist “must see” places in CHS. Surely, hundreds of photos are taken a day. She was persistent with her harsh attitude and kept repeating that I was taking photos of her, and that she was in the background of my photo. I even went as far as to show her the photos I took. Still in shock, I ordered a drink and walked away very quickly. It was weird, unusual, and upsetting behavior, and I wish I never ordered a drink. I am a girl who loves photography and sharing memories. I never took a photo of the bartender. Upset to share that I will not be returning. Please be weary of taking photos outside of this bar. Not the nicest of staff. Stinks :(

VERY expensive ($30 for two canned cocktails), not very outstanding alcohol, customer service was mid. The best they had going for them was the name wasn’t a lie, it was cool to see and stop by but wouldn’t recommend buying anything.

Bartender at the smallest bar was soooo mean. She was awful actually. If it were my business I’d not want her working for me. 6/24 @ 8pm

Tiny 5 seat bar tucked away in an alleyway of Charleston. It's a little hard to find, and we luckily found it empty. I forget the bartender's name, but he was a hoot and the man! What was supposed to be just a quick stop for a drink each turned into a 3 hour, enjoyable stay. The stools filled up with other tourists, and we enjoyed one another's company. Late night hunger then had us ordering delicious cuisine from the next door restaurant where the bathrooms were also located. Great time spent here jovially enjoying beverages and frivolously gourmandizing.

located in the ally next to Charleston Music Hall-stopped for quick drinks before show. Really small, only 4 stools at the bar. Bartender was really friendly. Found it relaxing to just sit and chill a bit. No draft, beer cans only. Friend enjoyed his Kentucky Gentlemen whiskey.
Staff are always extremely friendly! This is a cute little spot to stop and get a quick drink, especially if you are getting dinner nearby.
