This place is a joke. I ordered ahead of time on the web and went to pick up and when I got to the window there was no one there for a solid 3 to 4 minutes. All of a sudden a woman did pop out the window and she was friendly and apologized. I got my food about 5 minutes later and drove home. The burger was cold and the cheese was not even melted, the chicken sandwich was hot, and apple pie was fresh. Overall, food just tasted rushed or old.

We vosited on Tueaday, 25th for lunch. The service was great. However, we had to wait 20 minutes are our hot wings to be cooked. The staff was apologetic for the delay.

I bought a number one and number three and had a cheesecake bites along with fries and two sodas and 2 apple pies only one employee working only one she was taking orders and doing all the sandwiches all the fries all of that but tonight I wind up getting food poisoning and since that was the only thing I had for dinner ……..there you go

Ordered 3 of the big Bacon Burgers and 3 fries. And 3 drinks. It took over 20 minutes waiting , no one else in line. When I got home I had a couple of workers there. I got paper plates out. There was 2 fries ONE Bacon Burger and 2 cheese burgers . For almost $30.00 you'd they could get it right. And sooo slow.. I won't be back..

Worst waste of time I’ve ever had to experience in my entire life. I understand how this industry works, I understand being short-staffed… what I experienced today is not from short staffed but short of brain cells. 20 minutes after sitting in front of the pickup window, I was corralled around to the other end of the checkers drive thru only to be offered a completely WRONG meal twice. 35 minutes later into my lunch break, I’m given a plain burger that I didn’t even order. Very disappointing. Never giving my money to this place again.
It is my first time to checkers, as I live out of state. I wanted to give it a shot since I see their fries in stores even up in MN. I ordered their barbecue burger, which I would give a 2.5/5. Maybe their classic burger would have been better. Their seasoned fries were good, but nothing to write home about 3/5. The most surprisingly good thing I had were their $1 buffalo wings. These had a good amount of meat on them, and tasted great. Great value for wings from a fast food joint! These were so surprisingly good I had to write a review. 4.5/5.

Wanted a burger but I guess the employees just close early now. Came at 3:40 which is 20 minutes before close but it appears they closed up anyway. Very disappointing.
Edit: I went again at around 3:10 am on sept 9th. Their lights were on and they looked open, but they were closed early at 3am due to being short staffed. They really need to update their hours on here because this seems to be a common problem.

Stood at the window for 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged. There were only about three cars in the line. The lady opened the window, looked at told me she wasn’t going to be able to serve me because she was busy and I asked her if I was in a car you would serve me right? She just looked at me and closed the window. I think that was very rude and I absolutely could have been served especially after sitting there 15 minutes basically my whole lunch break. This is not the first time that I went to this particular checkers on Remount Road and the service has been terrible. Made a review the other day about being told they were too busy to serve me(only 2 cars in parking lot) and having window slammed in my face. Now today had friend stop by in a car thinking hey maybe today I can get some lunch. Was told they aren't serving burgers (it's a burger joint) and was given some chili cheese fries and nothing else. When i got them... my job is less than 1 min away, was cold and soggy, and all the cheese was mashed on the box. Can we please shut this Checkers on Remount Rd, Chas SC down. Last review I was instructed to write checkers complaints.com and got nowhere, wouldn’t let me upload the address or store number or make a complaint. I'd just like my money back and this place to do better. If it's corporate, maybe it's time y'all stepped in. If it's franchise mayb y'all should shut down.
