Been going to Point Break for a couple years now and it’s remained a personal favorite. Their coffee is always good and their acai bowls are some of the best getting around.

$19 mobile order for a golden milk latte & ham, egg & cheese croissant- totally reasonable price. Latte was watery / barely any flavor that should have shined with ingredients like turmeric, ginger & coconut milk- extremely bland. The breakfast croissant was molten lava hot which I was initially excited about- but it had been obviously so over done in the microwave I looked like a neanderthal attempting to bite off pieces of it. The order ahead option proved some challenges as there is no designated pickup area for mobile orders & the staff completely ignored me. A long time F&B veteran, was looking for an easy / wholesome breakfast on my way into work- will not repeat. My order wasn’t prepared until I had to flag down a team member 10 minutes after arrival (30-35 min after my 20
Min wait time order was placed)

DRIVE THRU ONLY review. Sat in the lane with one person at the window in front of me. The car didn’t move for about 10 minutes. I reversed, parked my car, and ordered inside. I asked the barista if they do have a drive-through and she said that when people order food, it takes a little longer. If you were going to list yourself as having a drive-through, The woman at the drive-through was still there for about five more minutes. I believe you need to be able to handle more than one customer in 15 minutes. Is there somewhere people can park after putting their order in? Or perhaps they can just pull up so that the person behind them can also order? The process here doesn’t make sense and it could possibly be an easy fix to make it a better customer experience.

My boyfriend and I stopped here after I told him DO NOT take me to Charleston and stop at a Starbucks! 😂 he was so glad I found this coffee shop, which was 4 mins away from the Starbucks. I believe he had one of the energy boosting drinks, which I had a sip of and it was amazing. I don’t even like those normally, but I would buy it on a hot afternoon. I had the Salty Cowboy. I was nervous ordering it hot, because it sounded better cold, but I prefer hot coffee 24/7. It was the best latte I’ve ever had. I’m in Charlotte, so I took note of the flavors to make it at home. I’m sure it won’t taste quite the same, but I NEED that latte every morning now!!!! I would’ve never thought of those flavors for a latte but wow, I’ll remember that one for years.

Also- I am a coffee lover, not a syrup lover. So if you’re worried this latte is too sickly, it is not. It was the perfect balance of coffee, sea salt, coconut and caramel. I also added a pinch of sea salt and cinnamon to the top of mine. I felt this latte was amazing, because the flavors went so well with the espresso. 13/10. I was talking about it all weekend!

Stopped here on our trip and very glad we did! We ordered two of the ham and egg croissants, the og açaí bowl, and a salty cowboy iced coffee. We loved the food, very flavorful and thoughtfully presented. The coffee did taste watered down- more like flavored milk. But the customer service was friendly and although we found it a bit on the expensive side we still enjoyed our meal.

Excellent customer service! Had an issue with my online order and they called right away to offer a refund or replacement. Oh and the food and coffee is great, too! Had the nut butter oatmeal, was not overly sweet which I prefer, and very filling! Would definitely recommend!

My daughter and I visited here 2 out of 3 days for breakfast from North Charleston. We loved the nut butter açaí bowls and the chocolate croissant was incredible too. Coffee was delish. Everyone there was so nice! Highly recommend!

The menu prices do not match what they ring up! Be sure to check- each item is $1-$3 more when you look at receipt. When I brought this up they just said “yeaa the menus are wrong”.
