The food is spot on! Will definitely add this to my rotation of places to revisit. Ordered off the lunch menu, well priced for the food!

Chopstick house saved my life. Not an exaggeration.
I think anyone visiting the area should stop by and enjoy the restaurant.
Here's to several more years of business.

Anytime here at the Roper Hospital we’ve been nothing but Great support to locals here downtown Charleston, including chopsticks for many years.
Unfortunately, we made a decision to stop ordering from this unprofessional establishment. THE DEMANDS FOR A ATIP FROM DRIVER IS VERY HIGH. She’s is very AGGRESSIVE. It got to a point where we ask the guy who delivers from there as well to be the deliverer for now on. WHEN GOING TO REACH FOR YOUR FOOD, she guards the food demanding money. TODAY NOV 2, 25, my co-worker called for a lunch special meal which is $14.00 to be delivered and the order taker lady ask if she can order more food due to the cost was too low for delivery. Their policy states deliveries made after $10 purchases. She ask us to hold them never came back. We call again and she ask us to hold again and never came back. This place has been rude to us for the LAST TIME. Here at Roper and from my understanding MUSC does not want anymore services from CHOPSTICKS.
My wife went in to pick up her food, she felt like chopsticks so we went to get her something, I chose to make my meal at home.

First time ordering. The food was delivered so fast that was great. We had chicken lo mein, sesame chicken with shrimp egg rolls and won ton soup. It was all sooooo good.

Very nice
We stopped by Chopsticks House for takeout and it did not disappoint. I had the pork and broccoli combo platter, and my wife went for the Mongolian beef combo. Both plates came out fast, piping hot, and loaded with food—definitely generous portions. The flavors were spot on, especially the Mongolian beef which had the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful. Service was quick and super friendly too. Overall, an excellent spot if you’re craving classic Chinese takeout done really well. Highly recommended.

Immediately after eating, I became extremely bloated and I’ve been nauseous with stomach cramps ever since. I’m really worried I may be getting food poisoning. We have given this place a few chances and I just can’t justify going here anymore. The food has never been great but Charleston has a serious lack of good Chinese food. Tonight, the sesame chicken was chewy and hard to eat. The quality of the meat inside all the breading seemed really bad and gristly. They also up-charge for EVERYTHING - $3 to get white meat, $1 to get egg in your rice, and another $1.50 if you want to change your fried rice from pork to a different protein (or veggie). Insane. The veggie fried rice was too greasy with no flavor despite paying extra. And I just saw someone post that they found a cockroach in their food and I feel even sicker now.

Delicious! Great value
Our dinner was definitely made by someone who knows how to cook well. Everything was perfectly cooked. We normally have leftovers and not this time. Thank you.
Chopsticks House is hands down the most amazing Chinese restaurant in the downtown Charleston area! Every dish I’ve tried has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and just hits the spot every time. Whether you're in the mood for something classic like General Tso’s Chicken or craving some crispy egg rolls, they nail it.
What truly makes the experience even better is their delivery driver, Cui Lin. She always delivers with a warm smile and friendly energy—such a joy to see at my door! Her kindness and professionalism really go a long way and make the service feel personal.
Trust me, you will not be disappointed by ordering from here. Chopsticks House is a hidden gem that deserves all the love.
We have never had an issue with the food. However, we won’t be ordering from this location anymore. First let’s be clear. Nobody has to give y'all anything. A tip is optional. However, I’m a strong believer in giving one, and one was given. It is still optional. How are you going to tell someone to give you more money for a tip. The food is paid for. The tip is optional!! Keep that in mind next time.
So happy they opened their dine in spot again. Chinese food just hits so much better when eaten on the spot.
