Immediately after eating, I became extremely bloated and I’ve been nauseous with stomach cramps ever since. I’m really worried I may be getting food poisoning. We have given this place a few chances and I just can’t justify going here anymore. The food has never been great but Charleston has a serious lack of good Chinese food. Tonight, the sesame chicken was chewy and hard to eat. The quality of the meat inside all the breading seemed really bad and gristly. They also up-charge for EVERYTHING - $3 to get white meat, $1 to get egg in your rice, and another $1.50 if you want to change your fried rice from pork to a different protein (or veggie). Insane. The veggie fried rice was too greasy with no flavor despite paying extra. And I just saw someone post that they found a cockroach in their food and I feel even sicker now.

Our dinner was definitely made by someone who knows how to cook well. Everything was perfectly cooked. We normally have leftovers and not this time. Thank you.

Chopsticks House is hands down the most amazing Chinese restaurant in the downtown Charleston area! Every dish I’ve tried has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and just hits the spot every time. Whether you're in the mood for something classic like General Tso’s Chicken or craving some crispy egg rolls, they nail it.

What truly makes the experience even better is their delivery driver, Cui Lin. She always delivers with a warm smile and friendly energy—such a joy to see at my door! Her kindness and professionalism really go a long way and make the service feel personal.

Trust me, you will not be disappointed by ordering from here. Chopsticks House is a hidden gem that deserves all the love.

We have never had an issue with the food. However, we won’t be ordering from this location anymore. First let’s be clear. Nobody has to give y'all anything. A tip is optional. However, I’m a strong believer in giving one, and one was given. It is still optional. How are you going to tell someone to give you more money for a tip. The food is paid for. The tip is optional!! Keep that in mind next time.

So happy they opened their dine in spot again. Chinese food just hits so much better when eaten on the spot.

Tipped with my order online and delivery lady asked me for “have any cash tip for me?” Making it super uncomfortable and baffling that she would even ask.

I’ve gotten the spare ribs and pork fried rice and it was a roach in my food . I’m never buying anything from them again. A really bad experience I had today.. that refund didn’t matter !! For a restaurant you guys need to do better than this !!!!!

So the delivery lady was demanding a tip after i paid for my food and i told her i didnt have it and she was trynna take it out the money i paid for with the food & as im eating it the fish is sliding out of the batter shrimp was bubbly and i was highly upset

I asked as an associate to have my ribs separate from the rice and she deliberately belittled me, which was quite disappointing considering the fact that it was a simple request. I used to be a customer at this establishment no more as I moved on to the best service that's not deplorable. The food does it stand out.

Food is great, but will not be ordering from them anymore since they bully people for tips. I guess that’s how these people think they should be doing business: Losing customers who would spend minimum 20-30 dollars per order over few dollars of tips. Smart, very smart.
