Came in on 3/27 looking for some goodies. Walked in to the bakery no greeting until I said something. I love sweets and can be very easily persuaded to buy extra but I got nothing from the lady working. All I got from her was a “Hi” after I spoke and “do you need a bag.” A little disappointed but the cookies and cake I picked out was good.

Absolutely love this place, have for the past 12 years. They have an amazing assortment of hand painted chocolates and truffles as well as the most awesome French baguette sandwiches (that do sell out)! I come here every special occasion and would come here more often if it was closer to Summerville.

The ice coffee was good. The chocolate croissant was ok. The female counter workers were not polite or welcoming, and they provide no customer bathroom. No “hello have you been in before? Can I make any suggestions for you?” Just a stare and a cold encounter. One completely ignored

I thought I walked into a coffee shop in Boston. Woman was so rude I felt right at home. Maybe get a smaller press so you do not get so pissed when one customer orders *one* coffee. Never been back, and I go by every day.

I went to this adorable shop because in November I read food themed books so I take pictures of my books with places that correlate with the book. This shop is simply adorable! A lot of beautiful sweets. My daughter and I got beautiful desserts. I got a lemon pineapple thing and it was good but it could have used a bit more sweetness. We also got some macarons and they didn't taste right to me. The texture wasn't chewy like I'm used too (I've actually had French macarons in France before). The macarons were crispy/crunchy. I got my husband a pan au chocolate and he said it was decent, as well as the chocolate cake I got him. I tried that and it was okay. I am willing to try this place again because I have a major sweet tooth. Maybe I'll go for the actual chocolates next time.

This is our favorite place to stop for delectable handmade chocolates and pastries! We feel like it's a local escape to a European bakery. We always enjoy a French press and a pastry at a bistro table outside, then we get a nice variety of chocolates for the week and head home. There's flavors for everyone! He makes beautiful creations out of chocolate that are really too beautiful to eat but would make a spectacular gift; right now near Halloween there are skulls, haunted houses, ghosts and pumpkins, as well as the regulars; beautiful turtles, high heels, alligators, the Eiffel Tower, and so on. If you like chocolate or pastries, this is the place to go!
Absolutely obsessed!! I drove into this lot to go to an adjacent sweets spot but when I parked it looked closed from the outside so I went to Christophe's instead and, boy I am glad I did!! They have BEAUTIFUL pastries and chocolates, delicious looking cookies, and lots of French macarons. I plan to get some Christmas presents sent from here this year. Will 100% be a return customer.

Everytime we go to christophe's we have to get so many things because it is all so delicious! All the chocolates, cakes, croissants are incredible, it truly feels like you're in France at a bakery there.

Loved this shop. Always a stop when I visit Charleston. I was excited to take my Daughter in- Law there today. She just had her baby a week ago. As Mom I wanted to take her to a special place for a coffee and sandwich. She was able to take a break as baby and Dad are home. What a disappointment when Jessica informed us sandwiches were no longer available. It was 4 pm with lots of unused croissants on the counter. Such sad service from a wonderful establishment. After all what is quality without service!!! Such a Shame!!!

Just love this place! Your mouth just waters from the scent of deliciousness when walking in! These make perfect gifts for that special someone who has the culinary appreciation of chocolate & pastries. I've been to both quaint locations.. they can also custom design.. on this trip we sampled four individual chocolates: lavender caramel, coffee cheesecake, blue cheese & earl grey.. they also have delicious teas too! 3 cute bistro tables w chairs are set up outside at this location.
