Think dive bar of coffee shops, but better. The coffees pretty good, the art changes all the time and it's always interesting, and is the cool locals you'll find sitting at the bar. Worth a pop in.
Spent two lovely mornings here this past week easing into my day with pleasant conversation and great coffee! Candace, the owner, is genuine warm and friendly and you can just feel the sense of family and community this local coffee shop exudes.
My husband, who is a bit of a coffee snob, has proclaimed that city lights has the best Flat White that he's ever had. I have to agree...it was delicious. My dad had the carrot cake and it was also amazing. They are apparently moving to a new location soon, but we will definitely find them when we get back to Charleston.
