Stopped in for a quick bite and coffee had a croissant and an iced Americano, while my partner grabbed a bagel with cream cheese. Both were solid. The shop is attached to a hotel, so it draws a lot of tourists. When we visited, it was bustling and loud not exactly ideal for working, but great if you’re just popping in. Despite the crowd, they’ve got an efficient system that gets drinks out quickly. Good experience overall, just know it can get hectic depending on the time of day.

Coffee is great. Bagel with Lox and the breakfast sandwiches were all really good. Cool, chill atmosphere, glad we ventured out.

Cold brew was great, the cortado was perfect and presentation was nicely done
Comfortable seating, great place to get the day started and figure out what we wanted to explore on this historic area

Attempted to stop by for an iced coffee on a warm Sunday afternoon around 1p but was rudely informed that the place was closed (despite the hours showing open until 4p) by the worker saying, “I put up the signs!”. Mind you, the signs say “Sleep, tomorrow coffee” which isn’t very clear especially for people who aren’t locals. It would’ve been better if she would’ve politely told us that the place was closed early and apologized.

My favorite coffee shop in Charleston. I come through here a lot as a pilot 👨✈️✈️ and they are so friendly and always remember who I am. :) Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for the best coffee in Charleston.
Quaint coffee shop nestled in the heart of Charleston. This lovely coffee shop is located near all the shops and sights of Charleston and is a Vibrant and cozy place to grab your favorite coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

First good matcha I've had in Charleston! Got mine with oat milk and vanilla sweetener. Good powder, vibrant. A little pricey but such is life in the French Quarter. Worth the visit.

Clerks Coffee inside Emeline is my go-to for a solid pick‑me‑up. The Dirty Chai Latte hits just right, and the Chocolate Avalanche pastry is always a treat. Friendly staff, comfy vibe—great for morning fuel or a sweet snack.

The place is beautifully designed, and the coffee was good. But!
1. It took forever to get 2 cups of coffee for no reason. The place was not busy at all. It made no sense.
2. The place was filthy. No one cleans or does anything on our side of the counter.
3. The eggplant wrap was not edible. Paid over 12 dollars to throw it all away.
Seems like you put together such a beautiful place, and because of the above we will not come back. It's a shame.

Great matcha, awful service. Besides the fact that they messed up our food order (which seemed like a common occurrence as there were many trying to get their orders straightened out at the drink counter), I made eye contact and smiled at the cashier upon entering and she avoided eye contact, did not speak regardless of seeing that we hadn’t been there before/didn’t know where to stand or view the menu, and never once offered any advice or even a greeting. Very strange. It was a madhouse at the front of people trying to correct their drink and food orders. We got two bagels and two uncomplicated drinks, it shouldn’t have taken 30 minutes and three visits to the counter.

We had the worst chai and dirty chai we've ever tasted here. I can’t even describe the flavor, but it definitely wasn’t chai. The drink even burns your throat. No idea what was in it. Both were watery, bland, and completely overpriced. Would not recommend!
I recently visited this coffee place and was extremely disappointed with the service. The employees seemed more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. They spent a long time talking amongst themselves and barely acknowledged anyone waiting at the counter.
After placing our order, we waited much longer than expected. When we finally asked about it, the staff simply said, “Oh, we forgot,” with no apology or sense of urgency. Their response was careless and rude, making it clear that customer service was not a priority. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience, and I hope the management addresses these issues.
