It was just okay, the food was fine but nothing close to memorable. All three in my party felt the same. Our service was fine, the guy was attentive he just didn't really seem like he enjoyed the job. It's obviously not a high-end restaurant so I don't expect everything to be fantastic, but overall I'd expect better than what we got. Given all the options in Charleston, I doubt I'd ever go back.

Cute spot but food was over seasoned. We are NIOT picky eaters and go out to eat at least 3 nights a week at upscale restaurants. Just didn't suit our taste palettes. My husbands scallops were a bit under cooked. No explanation of the catch of the day. In fact we had to ask.

Have eaten here before and had good experiences but has been a number of years since last visit. Dinner was just okay. Coleslaw was roon temp which was disconcerting, and my fish was burnt, so much so i could only taste the char.. When mentioned it to the server, the manager did not even come over to our table but did offer a free dessert. It was something but was a little disappointing. Will try one more time in the future as I'm not sure if it was an off night or slipping .

Excited to eat here bc ambience was cool and menu looked good. Sadly, pineapple mango mojitos were not good, shrimp ceviche was just whole shrimp in a salsa base. Worse was the poor service-waiter didn't write down our order, then kept getting it wrong. (And wasn't nice about it) Meal came out with half of us getting food and the rest of us not getting food till almost 20 min later. Daughter got her cornbread AFTER the meal. Manager actually came over to check and was VERY nice—fixing order, offering 1/2 off meal, so that helped a lot. Two of us had swordfish, which was good-but haricots verts were soooo spicy & actually none of us could eat them (and I love spicy food). Appreciative of management at this place, but overall, just not a great experience.

The overall experience at Coast was subpar, especially considering the cost. It was such a poor experience that the server comped my beer and desert, but even with that $40 discount, our bill was still about $140 for two people. The food was average, at best, they were out of several items, my order was messed up, and the 'chocolate mouse' was cold chocolate cake with whipped cream on top. This is for tourists who don't know any better, but even they will likely be disappointed. It was loud, full of kids, and the floor was dirty. There were some bright spots like the conch fritters, but the owners really need to focus on quality rather than 'turning and burning' as many people as possible.

Sat on the back patio and listened to 2 guys play amazing live music. The food was excellent and service was fast and friendly! Would recommend for a good meal, great environment, and good time!

Went here with a friend and wouldn't recommend. Our server was nice and the overall atmosphere was great. My food was incorrect from what I ordered and was super salty but extremely bland. Equally my friends food was super salty but incredibly bland. We still ate what we ordered and she loved their signature cocktail. Not a bad place but I would not recommend.
