We visited Community Perk, located inside The Charleston Place Hotel, and tried their croissants and a macaron. Unfortunately, they did not meet our expectations. The croissants were not fresh and lacked crispiness, although the cream fillings were nice. We tried the pistachio and the blueberry/lemon meringue ones. Paid $26 for two croissants and one macaron — far too expensive for such average flavors!

This was probably the best coffee we had in Charleston! I absolutely recommend stopping in here. While prices are not listed, it's basically the same you would pay at any other coffee shop, but you will have an amazing drink! It's absolutely worth stopping in! It only took a couple minutes for both drinks. 1,000% recommend!

Community Perk has become my go to coffee shop! They recently added some new pastries and breakfast sandwiches that are delicious - definitely try the donuts and the biscuit sandwich. The people who work there are really friendly and helpful too.

Fantastic place for a quick drink and a delicious sandwich. Absolutely recommend if you're in DT Charleston. Also plenty of shops inside the hotel as well if you feel like shopping!

Community Perk is the cutest pop in coffee shop downtown. Just steps off King Street and in the beautiful The Charleston Place Hotel, this coffee shop is the perfect spot to grab a coffee in between shopping!

My favorite little coffee spot! It’s definitely a hidden gem, tucked inside the beautiful Charleston Place hotel and rarely ever has too long of a line because of that. Alexey is a delight and the sweet treats are unmatched!!

I stumbled upon this cafe while walking through The Charleston Place and I’m so happy I did. Their chocolate croissant twists are the best I’ve ever had!

8 dollars for a soda in a glass bottle is a bit much.

Charleston Place has it all. Great location, amazing service, fantastic spa, and the best food and drinks we had during our trip. I am looking forward to coming back for another stay when I next visit Charleston.

Great service. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Terrific central location to all that Charleston has to offer. Thoroughbred Bar is a wonderful place to have a drink and relax. I highly recommend the hotel!
