Food and Service was good. I loved looking at the water it's just the only downside to this place was they had no straws. I was very disappointed about that. If I ever go back I would need to bring a straw with me.

Decided to try Ellis Creek Fish Camp with our best friends. They had passed by in the past and wanted to try local seafood. The exterior of the building is all wooden and styled like an old fish camp. There was a long line to order food, so we knew this was the place to be. There was both inside and outside seating available. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather. Ellis Creek Fish Camp is dog friendly!! They have a station of water bowls and water for your furry baby. They also offer menu items just for dogs! The staff is super friendly and made us feel like family. The food came out quickly and was just wonderful. The menu has something for everyone, so if you don't like fish, no worries. I ordered the shrimp tacos. I had 2 tacos with shrimp seasoned the way I like (yes, there are multiple options for seasonings). They had crunchy cabbage and a tangy/spicy aoli sauce. So tasty. Our friends had the shrimp po boy sandwich with fries. I recommend Ellis Creek Fish Camp. A relaxed atmosphere and delicious food at a reasonable price. The service was fantastic! We will be back to explore more of the menu.

Long waits and a crowded parking lot so be prepared to park on the street. Despite the lines and crowd there were plenty of tables to sit at. This is an order first then be seated kind of place. The hush puppies were delicious as was the calamari. My little dining buddy got a turkey dinner and he loved that. The fried fish tacos and shrimp scampi left a little something to be desired. Fun location if you don't forget the bug spray!

After deciding what to eat for lunch, we agreed upon Ellis Creek Fish Camp. What a great choice, great people, great atmosphere, great view, great food....great place! Arrived to see a parking issue and a long line. It all worked out, an employee got us a parking spot right away and the food line moved along quickly. Before long we were sitting outside at tables under the trees and our food arrived. The food was tasty and at a great price. Had the crabcake sandwich with homemade chips. All I can say is..mmmmmm! I would recommend this restaurant!!!

Found this place by accident and so happy we did! Totally made my Charleston experience even more special! Can’t wait to come back again!!Parking: Easy!!
Great place to grab a quick meal & a beer! The views are beautiful, the people that work there are great, and the new manager since I was last there is excellent. She has the place running super efficiently, big props to her! The only drawback to here is that parking and getting in and out of the parking lot can be difficult, especially during rush hour times. That being said, if you want a nice place to grab a bite that has a good atmosphere and views, you can't beat Ellis Creek Fish Camp.

Good customer service nice atmosphere and the food was pleasing and definitely fresh tasting. My only problem is I was not a fan of the collards they were greasy and sweet.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating which is perfect for kids who like to get up and move around a lot.

Such a cute place! Got here about 6pm on a Friday and it was PACKED. Well worth the wait. Started with fried pickles. Incredible. Rounds not spears so they were amazing. Hushpuppies were fabulous. Had the shrimp and grits and the fried shrimp and grouper. The fried fish was pretty good but the shrimp and grits was the real winner here. Holy cow. Can't wait to come back and try the blackened fish. Such a fun atmosphere and can't beat the view.
