A nice little "hole in the wall" bar that always has good drinks and friendly staff. The place is decorated in signs and stickers, which will keep your eyes entertained for a while. The place is pretty clean, and the bartenders do not skimp on the alcohol. The prices here are great, especially when comparing them to bars just down the road. There's also pool, pinball, and an arcade game inside if you're into that. Overall, a great place to hang out to begin or end the night.Parking: It can be pretty difficult to find parking. I recommend getting an Uber.Kid-friendliness: Not the place for kids.

Love this spot! It’s a metal bar with an incredible selection of drinks and the best staff. Tiny, almost the size of a big apartment. Recommend coming late.Pro tip: if you put your name down at Chubby Fish for dinner and the wait is long, Cutty’s is the perfect place to kill the time with a drink or six. Definitely try the SUNBOY Spiked Coconut water.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free spiked coconut water - SUNBOY

This place rocks and is family friendly if you have a fun family. They let us bring in food too. Bring cash if you want Jell-O shots, because you’ll want them, so just bring the cash.

While they don’t have a kitchen, they have pop ups sometimes that never disappoint. They also are across the street from d’Al’s pizza, which they allow guests to eat in the bar if there’s not a pop up. This dive bar is the diviest of them all, which for me is a good thing. Not for everyone, but a haven for the right ones. Don’t feel the need to get all gussied up to come here, just come as you are and have a good time.Parking: Street parking is the best option, just be careful not to get towed or booted.

Good bar, but honestly I’m mostly leaving a review to respond to the guy who said Charleston is disappointing and is like “JV New Orleans.” In fact, Charleston is like Senior Year of College (partying is still fun, but a bit more restrained and refined) while New Orleans is like an entire town of “this is my first beer!” (Drinking sweet shooters and fluorescent mixed drinks out of plastic cups, pissing on the streets, puking on your friends, and thinking the food is great because you’re hammered). And of course, the JV squad— who just started partying— thinks that because they puke their guts out, they know how to party:HARD.Anyway, this is a good bar, just don’t expect “this is my first beer!” vibes.

Not gonna lie, overall Charleston is disappointing. I live in New Orleans, and this town is basically JV Nola. Not it's fault, a fine city overall, and if I lived in Indianapolis I'm sure I'd love it. Having said that, this is a god tier bar. Great space, great bartenders, funny signs, and for a dove bar amazing bathrooms.

Fantastic punk dive bar. Bones is a fantastic bartender and super welcoming. Great prices too.

Yes. Just, yes.Cuttys makes me feel like I'm home, when I've never felt at home like here.
