We found this restaurant close to our bnb house. Nothing walking distance. Cozy small pizza place with great tasting pizza. Many choices on the menu. My husband had the Jersey Devil. Basically a canzone. I had a dinner salad. Out server was kind and very attentive. Would recommend eating here for a casual lunch or dinner.

Staff not friendly but easy to overlook once pizza hits table. Order the Hawaiian. Crust crispy, cooked perfectly and not greasy at all. Pineapple was freshly cut. Chicken portion size was beyond pathetic. So thin I think they cut it with a lazer. Outlined chicken in blue. Would definitely stop in again

Thought the pizza was excellent. We got takeout, so didnt eat in to know what the service or atmosphere was like. If you're getting it to go, recommend you use a delivery service, because parking is impossibly Spartan and difficult. This is a place to walk to, but very good food.

After reading the reviews we drove 30 minutes to eat there, walked in and asked the young man about the precautions that the cooks take when ordering a gluten-free pizza, he ask what is that, we explained, he ask the cooks and they said they don't take any precaution so we didn't eat, very disappointed was looking forward for pizza,

I really don’t understand all the great reviews for D’Allesandro’s. We called on a Tuesday night around 8:30 to confirm they were open, and were told yes. Their online hours also say they’re open until 11pm. We took an Uber with our family across town and arrived at 8:45, only to be told we could place an order but they were no longer serving anyone inside—even though plenty of people were still eating in the restaurant.
When I mentioned that we just called, the girl at the counter shrugged it off and said I hadn’t specifically asked whether dine-in was still open. Seriously? After traveling out of our way with two hungry kids, that was frustrating and unprofessional.
Since the boys were starving, we went ahead and ordered. They told us 15 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30. When we finally got back to the house, the pizza itself was… mediocre at best. The crust had zero seasoning and tasted like they forgot the basics. The salad was fresh, but that was the only bright spot.
Honestly, if this is considered the best pizza in Charleston, I feel bad for locals. Do not recommend.

We were walking to another pizza place when we struck up a conversation with other walkers. They recommended D’Allesandra’s. It was an extra 0.5 mile walk for us but said let’s try it.

So glad we did!!! We enjoyed two 10”
Pizzas and split the house salad. Delicious!!

Only down side is they serve Pepsi. Pizza goes better with Coke!

Great vibes and excellent service. Really cool staff and very affordable prices for Charleston. I would recommend the Italian Caljoe (my secret is drizzling a little honey inside, SO GOOD) or the chicken bacon ranch pizza. I’ve also recently had to change my diet to be gluten free and they have an INCREDIBLE gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza and dairy free cheese. Taylor is so wonderful especially with all my new dietary restrictions.
