The staff here are super nice!

I got the mushroom and spinach hash and if I could give the owners three pieces of advice it would be:
1) please get metal cutlery in your dining room, plastic cutlery diminishes the experience so so much
2) You need diced potatoes to make a hash. (Or at least to be clear on your menu.) Shredded potatoes make hashbrowns.
3) Put salt and pepper at the tables.

Overall, not bad, just not what I expected and I wasn't able to rescue it with salt bc there wasn't any.

I called from out of town and ordered breakfast for 40 people plus had it delivered to North Charleston, something told me I could trust Jeremiah and his team with our order based on our initial conversation.

Needless to say, it was a huge hit!!! A lot of people were impressed with the selection and they devoured the food…a couple folks banded together to create a mini buffet to indulge in all the selections.

Came here for breakfast with some friends, inside is super small only a couple seats but more available outside. The BLT was amazing, bacon was juicy and bread was toasted perfectly! Highly recommend!! The fruity pebble pancake was a fun treat and HUGE, could easily be shared! The bacon egg and cheese was okay, not my favorite. The egg was a block and the cheese was cheese sauce. Creative but sadly not for me. The mimosa flute was good and you can add flavorings, forgot to take a pic.
Overall a good spot for breakfast with a creative menu, something for everyone.

Cool old school spot smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood. Great breakfast food that hits the spot. Solid portions. Breakfast club was the best!

Leaving Daps this morning, feeling a little bit confused. I’ve heard from so many people in Charleston over the last few years that I’ve lived here that this is a great breakfast spot, but I couldn’t agree less. My husband and I were both unable to finish our meals. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, and the egg came out in a thick, yellowish green block, looking more fake than anything I’ve ever seen. The “cheese” is just a cheese sauce that you are supposed to dip your sandwich in. It was a hard sauce so not very dippable, and didn’t add anything to the meal. But without it, the breakfast sandwich was incredibly bland. My husband ordered the hash, which is literally just potatoes covered in cheese sauce with a side of toast. Probably his fault for not reading that it didn’t come with an egg, but overall we were very disappointed with the food, and don’t feel inclined to give this spot a second chance.

We visited Daps for the first time in a month or two to take my dad to brunch. Ranted and raved over how much we loved Daps and how great the food was. They were out of the brunch burger so we ordered some other egg sandwiches and a mushroom toast. We were so disappointed in all of our sandwiches. The eggs were so thick and dense. Truly an awful consistency. This was a far cry from the soft, fresh scrambled eggs they used to put on their sandwiches. At $14+ for an egg sandwich the shortcuts they are taking is stepping down the quality of their food. There is more than one way to scramble an egg and it feels you have picked the worst!

Mediocre. I got a parfait that was about 90 percent Greek
yogurt with a sneeze of fruit and granola. My wife got a sausage egg and cheese. The best part was the bun. It was sort of doughnut adjacent bread. Coffee was a bit weak as well.

All and all, I'm sure you can find a better breakfast place at comparable prices.
