Simple, counter order cafe with some seriously delicious food. The breakfast tacos were some of the best we’ve ever had, the burrito is great with the hot sauce, and the pancakes are a must (ask them to warm up the syrup though no one wants cold syrup). The menu is extensive and had tons of great options, it was hard for us to narrow down to three choices. Highly recommend!

i don’t even know what to say about this place. i paid $16 for two iced lattes and i swear it was the worst coffee we have ever had. i mean it wasn’t just bad like it tasted spoiled.. like spoiled milk. i threw both of them away and was just in a rush i couldnt even be bothered to tell the guy making lattes that every latte he was making was with some very spoiled ingredients. it was my first time coming to this place and i wont be going back. i didnt even get to try the food but im kinda glad i didnt.

Enjoyable breakfast sandwiches. They also have lattes with homemade syrups. My friends and I ate breakfast at Bodega the day before and we all thought Daps was a little better for breakfast sandwiches.

I usually don’t write reviews but this place’s food is terrible. The wait is extremely long, not sure why as everything taste whack. My friends and I got the pancakes, the club sandwich, the chorizo gravy sandwich, the egg and ham sandwich. The butter for the pancakes was hard as rock can’t even spread your pancakes. The chorizo gravy was like a cow patty poo sandwich. The flavor was bland, don’t think a pinch of salt was in the gravy. Great for low sodium eaters I guess? My friend who ate it, his stomach is turning….The club sandwich was nothing to write home about. It was 3 buttery breads with egg lettuce tomato, and turkey patty? I could’ve made the sandwich in 1 second at my house and it would’ve tasted better. A frozen jimmy dean would’ve been better. The drip coffee was probably Folgers and it would’ve been nice if they filled the half and half container which was empty for the 2 hours we were there. The only thing that this restaurant’s food did was fill the empty void in our stomachs, barely…….The food needs HELP……

Went to breakfast with friends at Daps and had a less than stellar experience. Waited an hour for our food and they had lost our ticket, which they didn’t realize until I went in and asked because our friends got their food 20 minutes before. Offered us a free beverage from the cooler instead of a refund. We refused and they gave us a sticker and a pin. Food was decent but underwhelming, the hash didn’t have any cheese and they charge you $1 for a side of hot sauce and a $1 for a side of ketchup. I never complain because I also work in food and bev, but this was super disappointing. We went once before and also had an underwhelming experience, but figured we’d give it another shot. Won’t be going back.. overpriced and under delivery

Loved this cute spot. Breakfast Bahn mi was bangin. It's a tiny spot with a few bar seats and maybe seating for 15-20 including the outside patio. Due to popularity, the line can get long; however, the staff moved things along as quickly and efficiently as possible. Will def go back here again.

Daps should be a MUST for anyone new to Charleston. It's the best breakfast in Charleston. I’m not kidding when I say their pancakes are the best in the country. I used to eat chocolate chip pancakes every day when I was six years old, so I know what a good pancake is — and yes, they sell the mix!! Everything is freaking amazing here—good people, excellent service, & freaking fantastic food.

The food and service was excellent! The location itself is a little small and has limited seating so rainy days grab it to go. Highly recommend you check out this breakfast spot.

Best brunch spot in all of Charleston, incredible staff and owners who care so much for their customers and the neighborhood. Food is delicious, the breakfast burrito or the hash and fruity pebble pancakes are our fave’s. Delicious coffee and mimosas too. It can get busy but worth the wait!

My first time here and WOW I fell in love with the classic egg and cheese sandwich. The scrumpet was soft and beautiful, eggs were fluffy, and I love that they do a cheese sauce on the side instead of cheese slices! So unique and delicious. Be sure to add their homemade hot sauce on the sandwich!
