I dined at Delaney oyster tonight, and had an incredible experience. Our server was Charlie (easy to remember, we have the same name) and he gave us an experience we could never forget. 10/10 I will be back and I will be asking for Charlie!

Lovely setting and service but some of the food doesn't quite justify the price. Stick to the oysters which are beautifully presented and very fresh!

I had read such good reviews of this place and wanted to give it a 5/5, but I felt let down by the entree. I started with one of their cocktails, which was described as having passion fruit but I really couldn’t taste that. It tasted like a standard fruity alcoholic beverage, 3/5. But this place isn’t a cocktail bar so it’s fine. Next I ordered oysters, which were absolutely phenomenal and the presentation was fantastic. Each type was labeled and they were served with lemon, homemade cocktail sauce, and a little spritz bottle of vinegar, 5/5. Then I had the lobster bisque. Hands down one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. So savory and rich, must try, 5/5. And then came the entree, which was described as blue crab rice with sofrito and bacon. I thought this would be a Spanish style rice with an artful side of sofrito and tender chunks of blue crab and bacon mixed in. The waitress asked me if I wanted to top it with shrimp or scallops which I thought was odd as this was an entree, a full meal with crab already. On a whim I said I’d have shrimp which I’m glad I did because this dish was just a bowl of rice with tiny little shreds of blue crab throughout, no real protein or veggies. The rice was slightly undercooked as were a few pieces of shrimp. I don’t want to eat either of those things unless they’re fully cooked. This place was too expensive to be getting this wrong. The portions were generous and everything was tasty, but overall I was completely let down by the presentation and cooking of the entree, 3/5.

Cute little restaurant but pricey. I felt the food was overly salty (and I love salt!). The Lobster Bisque and Hush Puppies were tasty. My daughter loved her Oysters, Octopus and Cesar Salad. Other daughter said her Lobster Roll was just ok. Espresso Martini was strong. Bartenders and Waiters were super nice.

Always a great meal here. Probably the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. The fish is light, crispy and not greasy.I always love to get their basic side salad because it’s just delicious. Simple, few ingredients and the vinaigrette is usually something seasonal and light. The cocktails are also handcrafted and the bartenders take great care in preparing the drinks.

Absolutely fantastic! I’ve walked by the place many times but always across the street so I never had a glance inside. The oysters were stellar; shucked to order. Ice cold. We tried a combo and were wowed by all of them! The blue crab rice was perfection. The tuna tartare so unique and strange BUT in a good way. Get the hush puppies!! The butter is also very strange but again in a good way. Great cocktails and informed bartenders. Love love love!

LOVED our visit here last night. We sat at the bar and weren't planning to order much, but the menu was so tempting. Enjoyed two varieties of oysters, the snapper crudo and tuna tartare (WOW to both, but especially the tune tartare) and loved the Asian pear salad. Everything was so tasty and refreshing- can't wait to come back for a full dinner service.

I dream of lobster bisque frequently. The thick richness. The real lobster pieces. Sipping slowly. All right here. They only serve a small because it's so rich. But you just need to order two (or more). Will dream of this until I return to Charleston again.... And will go to Husk next time too. ... Exceeded high expectations for cuisine, creative cocktails, friendly service, kitchen timeliness, and outdoor porch seating !
