The food here is amazing! Especially their pho. But the reason I am giving this place one star is because of this lady in the picture. Either she is part of ownership or a manager But she sat at this table on her phone and told the young man behind the register who was busy assisting a party of eight With their order no When he politely asked her if She could clear the table beside me. So the young man cleared it himself while juggling making drinks, taking orders and serving plates. Mind you she just sat there. To the young man who worked at lunchtime 8/14, good job. To the lady in the photo, do better!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch today, we had two orders of Phở Tái, a taro latte, and a Thai tea - holy moly, everything was so fresh so delicious, and perfectly seasoned! The service was excellent as well!

I've been a customer for two years, and their drinks are very good. However, the last few times I've visited, the guy who serves has been rude, unfriendly, and even racist. He doesn't return greetings and has a very bad attitude. The last time I went, the boba was overcooked and mushy, but he still went ahead and sold me the tea.

I teared up eating this. Enough said, for a girlie from vietnam who came to america for college and is always hunting for that taste of home, this took me back to high school eating banh mi in front of the school gates and waiting for classes to end if you know you know. Anyway 10/10 cannot recommend enough thank you so much for making my day!!! It was really raining when I had this amazing Banh Mi and I was sitting in front of a church to get out of the rain when I looked up and there your store was. Felt like god sent. Anyway I’m yapping but pls pls try them out they’re so good! Will be coming back next week haha

Had high expectations since many other reviews said the milk tea was good. I ordered Thai Milk Tea and it wasn’t bad but it definitely wasn’t good either. It wasn’t a bad price at least.

Great experience! Stopped by for early dinner, friendly service, enjoyed the flavorful Shrimp Spring Roll with Peanut Sauce and Pork Bahn Mi sandwich on a super fresh french roll. Highly recommend this terrific small business!
I work close by on Meeting and I am so happy to be so close to such a wonderful spot! I probably come in once per week at least. I try not to get takeout most of the time, but if I am going to treat myself, Ha Long is always worth it. The pho is unbelievable, and I have been trying different boba teas each time I come in! I know it is standard at boba places, but I love being able to get the teas less sweet and trying new combinations. The people working are so friendly, lovely and kind. I couldn’t rave more about Ha Long Cafe and I’m excited to keep coming! I tried the Taro Milk Tea today with 30% sweetness and added boba 😋

Food was good. Front lady was rude. She was told of onion allergy and upon us reminding her and asking for her to swap out the bowl full of green onions, she was rude about it, fought us about it, and picked out the onions rather than making a new bowl
I would like to add that whoever responded to this post on google completely dismissed that we were not made a new bowl and the onions weren’t picked out. When we received the “new bowl” back, it had three or four green onions still left in it. To argue with someone on the internet who dined here is completely disrespectful to the consumer who chose to dine with you today and who suffered to eat through that bowl because we did not want to bother arguing with the lady again. We are not coming back and we will not recommend this place to anyone with how we were treated in store and online. I also would like to add as someone certified in food handling, if the meal is contaminated by any allergy then you make a completely new bowl. Not just give it more soup. What about the beef and noodles that were in there? You don’t care about the customer or the problems that they have with food allergies and one day you will unalive someone with how careless you are.
I have reported this restaurant to the health and safety department and to the South Carolina agricultural department for wrongful food handling.

Love the drink HOWEVER, the bamboo straw for the boba is impossible. It’s too thin for the boba to be sucked through. please consider changing the straw!
