The Manhattan was decent but not outstanding—definitely not worth $17
I was expecting a better drink. Also ordered a "You Bring the Flower, I'll Bring the Bee" cocktail was also mediocre and not worth the price. For two drinks, the total was nearly $50, which felt excessive.

If you hate truffle and the smell of truffles then please avoid this spot. It’s a small room and the truffle popcorn dank smell was hard to escape. Staff had tired attitudes and cocktails were super mid. Fancy descriptions with flat delivery. Sad as we walk by this place all the time when visiting and have always been excited to check it out but was such a letdown.

Great stop after a long day’s walk in Charleston before stopping in at our dinner place. Creative cocktails, a small place with good ambiance, friendly staff.

Spent several late afternoons/early evenings at Doar Bros. last week and had a great time! Jake and Stephen are artists in creating phenomenal craft cocktails! JD, one of the owners, very personable and welcoming! All great guys! If you're in to cocktailing, no trip to Charleston is complete without a stop at Doar Bros.! Cheers!

WOW! Hospitality is celebrated with a lot of love and skill. The cocktails are exceptional, original and VERY GOOD! We also ordered mortadella. What can I say...? AMAZING!! Not even here, in Europe, in Italians, there is such good mortadella. Plus fresh baguette... what an evening! The service was very nice and very attentive.
It's a shame that the bar is in Charleston and we live in Europe... but maybe it's a good thing, I'd probably be there every day! ;-)
Boar Bros, keep it up, good luck, you're doing everything right!!!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Adam and Jake. Last night we walked in at last call because it was our 21st anniversary and we were at Doar Bros last year for our 20th and loved it so much! We felt like we were going to be an inconvenience but, Jake made us feel so welcome! Adam, who also helped us last year, took the time to actually sit down with us and have a great conversation. I bought a shirt and will proudly represent Doar Bros everywhere I go! You have created memories that we will cherish the rest of our lives!

Had an amazing experience at Doar Bros. In Charleston, South Carolina!! Local friends took us there and absolutely loved it. We sat outside- was such a nice day out and a perfect spot to people watch! The service was fantastic outside as well. Our server was knowledgeable, swift and attentive. Inside they had probably about 10 tables and bar seating. They also had a super clean restroom! The star of the show were their amazing cocktails. We had a few on their menu. I also had a classic dirty martini with their house made vodka and blue cheese olives. We also had the TRUELY MADLY SWIFTIE-Highwire Vodka, Lychee, Cassis, Licor 43, Watermelon, Ginger, Lime, Carbonation, NINE DAYS OF GREY
Lalo Blanco Tequila, Italicus, Coconut Milk, Earl Grey Honey, Lemon, Lavender Bitters and PEAR WITH ME- Barsol Pisco, St George Spiced Pear, Licor 43, Lemon, Cinnamon, Egg White, Absinthe Rinse. The food was also delicious- the brown butter popcorn was like crack and the cheese board had so many yummy cheeses with their accoutrements!! The prosciutto and mortadella were also delicious! Very fresh and a good portion size! Will def come back when I’m in town!!!

I'm a cocktail guru and the Doar Manhattan is the best I've had.

Doar Bros was a beautiful mixology bar! Their menu contained classic standards and a fun selection of modern drinks they’ve put their spin on. Example, their play on the Trinidad Sour, with Angostura Amaro and tequila. Really well done. And it didn’t completely wreck your pallet in the same manner the Trinidad Sour can. We stopped into 6-8 cocktail bars during our recent time in Charleston. Doar Bros was one of two that stood head and shoulders above every other establishment we visited. We sampled three drinks. All were very well balanced. We will definitely go back during future visits to the area. It’s a small place, so don’t expect to be able to walk in at a peak time without a table reserved. Drink prices were pretty typical for what we’ve paid in other areas of the country. Really close to the City Market, Fig, Hyman’s and an easy 5-10 minute walk to 167 Raw, Husk and Poogan’s. Definitely stop in Doar Bros for a before or after dinner drink. You won’t be disappointed.

Legitimately the best cocktails I’ve ever had. They are so creative and make the wildest things work together. If you are a cocktail nerd this is a place you should travel to just to try everything they make. Don’t drive home!

Sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. Zander, the bar tender was the best bartender around! I’m so happy I stopped by.

Cute, quaint spot for a cocktail! My girlfriends and I had pre-dinner drinks before heading to Fig next door. We really enjoyed our cocktails.

Pro tip: it’s a small space, so make a reservation if you can.
