The drinks were exceptional. Beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted with attention to detail. You can tell there’s real passion behind the bar. Every sip felt intentional.

Listen to me and listen well; this is the best bar that I have ever been to regarding quality of drinks. I have been a bartender, I am 41, I know what I am talking about. I had a whiskey sour that was truly amazing, I had a drink like something my grandpa used to make but betterz I love it. I left 50 bucks for 3 drinks and they deserve it.

We asked the bartender if he could surprise us with drinks and he came up with a signature drink on the spot that was soooo good. I had just bought new shoes and was limping through the streets, another one of the bartenders noticed and offered me some bandaids. Highly highly recommend!

A MUST GO for anyone in or visiting charleston. Unbelievable service, family owned and operated, bartenders have INCREDIBLE depth with the drinks they make. Menu changes seasonally so I can always find something new and fresh. Service is amazing, drinks are just as good. You can be blindfolded and point to the menu and it will be a 10/10 every time. If you dont find something you like, the bartenders are so knowledgeable they can whip up a custom drink on the spot. Huge shoutout to Adam Doar, runs a clean ship and a tight operation, service with a smile every time. I take my group EVERY time we are in the area, and everyone raves about it. You will not regret a visit, and I can guarantee you will go back, its that good. I would give more stars if I could.

10/10 experience. Small intimate space, so make sure you have a reservation (!!) for a guaranteed table. Adam Doar himself stands at the front and greets people coming in. He also personally communicated with us via email when we needed to accommodate a large group. Great selection of cocktails! The pear-a-dise cocktail was like christmas in a coupe. Perfect spot for a cozy after-dinner date. Will be back!

I discovered Doar Bros in 2021 and make it a point to go back every time I visit Charleston. I think I’ve been about 5 or 6 times now. I love the intimate vibes, the staff take great care of you, and the drinks are incredible! Could not recommend this place enough!
I’m not sure how you could rate this less than 10 stars. Best cocktail bar I’ve ever been to! And most creative drink I’ve ever had— Bourbon & Clyde!! The Doar Bros have something really special here.
The hospitality is top notch too! We had a big group go and try and get in on a Friday evening, and with no issues sat outside, although it was a tad chilly (we didn’t care, having drinks with family, couldn’t ask for much more). Adam noted this and as soon as a table opened up inside he ushered us in no questions asked!

The best place in downtown Charleston to stop for a cocktail!! Adam welcomed our group of 7 with wonderful hospitality. We tried several different cocktails from the menu including the Bourbon and Clyde(this drink is a must if you visit Charleston), Manhattan, Sazerac, Ticket to Paradise, and Running Sraight. We enjoyed our top notch cocktails with the popcorn that was gourmet. Will make Doar Bros a place to stop every time we are in Charleston!! Well done establishment!
