I enjoy eating at D&D whenever I visit Cainhoy. However, I placed a take-out order tonight and was very disappointed overall. I ordered a Hans Grouper and three D&D Sig Pub burgers and Sloppy Fries. I paid for several extras like fried onions, etc. which were not added.
In fact other than tomato and lettuce there were no onions, no condiments, no cutlery, and not even a napkin. The (appropriately named) sloppy fries consisted of a portion of regular fries (not waffle) with little cheese and half a cup of a bland Sloppy Joe mix. Not a great return for having spent over $80.
I will certainly never order take-out from D&D again and honestly doubt I will ever return to the D&D as a sit-in diner either.
Word of advice: Be sure to check your order before leaving the premises.

I first went to dog & duck 14 years ago The food was excellent The service was great Tonight I went there The food was good a little salty sandwich came out nice and warm The chips were cold The service had a lot to be desired The guy behind the bar was very nice took care of me fairly quickly The other person behind the bar was very angry I don't know what she was angry about but she was very angry and it came right through not the most pleasant experience that I've ever had I don't like to review places like this I've always enjoyed coming here it was unfortunate I hope it doesn't happen to anybody else she seemed more interested in her phone and drinking her water than anything else

So many good menu options for bar food, sandwiches, wings, etc. Consistently fast food service times and I can’t recall ever having to send something back or receiving cold items. Always fresh and fast! Great happy hour deals as well! Parking can get a little full, but that’s not D&D’s fault!

My wife and I stopped by Dog and Duck on Clements Ferry. Their signature burger is one of the best burgers I've had in Charleston, I loved it! Definitely a great place to grab a beer and burger.

Great food and service! I'm glad I stopped in. I had a Caesar salad with grouper bites. The fish was cooked perfectly and well seasoned.
The owner said that my friend was cut off (which he should have been) but then also said i needed to leave just for being with him. If i could leave a 0 star review i would. I never leave a review but this was absurd.
Food was good. Everyone was friendly. Went for shrimp because I saw they are one of the places that buy LOCAL. Turns out they don’t always have it, because it’s bought local and based on supply. Not mad at all, that’s what happens when you buy local. Had a hotdog instead and it was good. Can’t wait to go back and try shrimp ! You guys gained a loyal customer by doing the right thing.
Neighborhood bar. Feel comfortable here, but the food needs some work. Definitely bar food, but needs more grilled options.
This was a fun bar with a nice outdoor patio space. Good food! Try the Grouper Bites, they are perfection!!

Fried shrimp and BLT are the best!!!
Very cool spot. Tough decision on the menu, seemed to have a couple bangers throughout. Had the Mahi tacos, not too bad. The Nashville slider I tried was legit.
Stopped in for a quick bite. The end.
Yeti Burger was really good! Seasoned fries were excellent!
Ordered a decent amount for takeout(fried pickles, D&D daycare, Nashville chicken sliders, etc). Everything tasted great EXCEPT the chicken tenders and chicken sliders, it was very obvious that the chicken is fried in the same oil as fish. Kind of a bummer because the Hot Honey Bourbon sauce on the chicken sliders was delicious, just wish I could have tasted chicken too.
Will try again.
