Good food, friendly service.
This is one if the best Chinese restaurants I've been too. You get what you pay for. Excellent!
Check out confusion
Wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to eat and headed over to the Palace. Always super good, great service, and impressive attention to detail. Ordered the savory spice chicken, was pleasantly surprised to discover it was a soup of sorts. Tender chicken, yummy broth, and scallions finely sliced with care. Got it Togo, the waiter was delightful. Thanks DP!
No lie, this is THE BEST Chinese food in Charleston! If you love soup, their House Wonton Soup is my absolute favorite. No other Wonton Soup compares. If you like meaty meals, try their Mongolian Beef and Chicken Dumplings.
Mediocre at best. The crab soup is listed as snow crab when it’s really imitation surimi, NOT crab. And don’t be surprised to get the smallest dumplings you have ever seen in your life.
Yummy. Love how they have decorated the place. Serive is good. Everyone is very polite
Szechuan chicken was amazing! In town for work and so glad I found this place.
Ordered for delivery and no utensils were provided after requesting. Sesame chicken was flavorless. Dim sum platter was unappealing. Wish I could have tried the wonton soup but didn’t have a spoon.
The customer service and atmosphere were great but the food was just edible. The 4- and 5-star reviews must be from people who have never eaten at high-quality dim sum restaurants. This is not high-quality, traditional dim sum food. The food quality was disappointing; dim sum should be almost clear and thin, but every item we purchased was thick and chewy.

Early voted in Daniel Island so checked out Dragon Palace for Lunch based on a recommendation from a friend.
Overall it was good but nothing to knock your socks off. I wouldn’t drive from Goose Creek to DI for it.
The Sweet and Sour Chicken was good. Nice larger pieces of Chicken and the batter was on point, crunchy light and fluffy.
The Eye Kew was also good. Had good flavor but the highlight was the Beef as it was so tender.
Dim Sum platter was great. You could tell these were hand made. Five different pieces, the Shu Mai and the Pork were the best. Very light, but flavorful Dumpling Sauce.
The Fried Rice was lacking, just Rice and Soy Sauce. Nothing else to provide flavor. No vegetables, no seasoning.
The Egg Roll was also lacking. Essentially a Fried Cabbage Roll as there was a tiny amount of pork in it. To the point I had to thoroughly search for those red Pork pieces after each bite. The Duck Sauce that was served with it was great though.
These were Lunch Specials but added the Dim Sum and the Egg Roll. Portions were solid for the price of $12.99 per special. Dim Sum was $8.99 and the Egg Roll was $2.75.
It was nice to see a sit down Chinese Restaurant rather than the typical Take Out Style places, especially with some of the originals in the area closing.
As I said before, the meal was good but nothing to go crazy about. Highlights were the Dim Sum and the Beef in the Rib Kew. Everything else was average at best.
I will give them credit for a wide range of items on the menu that you wouldn’t get at a typical Chinese Take Out Style place.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. Spend over $100 and threw it all away. Low quality and tasted bland and awful. The dumplings looked like they had freezer burn. Everyone I know recommended this place and I was surprised it was so bad.

I think I could get better General Tso's Chicken at Trader Joes. We actually thought we were mistakenly given sweet and sour chicken but it isn't on their menu. Just a no spice sweet sauce over fried chicken. Will clearly not return.
