Had a great time at Dudley's for my birthday weekend. It's always a good time to visit a new bar when your out on the town. 10/10 will be coming back.

Dudley’s is truly a gem and an essential part of Charleston’s nightlife. As the only gay bar in Charleston, Dudley’s provides a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space where everyone can be unapologetically themselves. The atmosphere is always warm, energetic, and full of community spirit.
Broke Collins deserves special recognition for bringing incredible entertainment and heart to the space. The performances are fun, bold, and full of personality, and they consistently create nights that are memorable and uplifting. You can feel the passion and effort that goes into every event.
Dudley’s isn’t just a bar—it’s a community hub, a place of celebration, and a reminder of how important queer spaces are, especially in the South. Grateful to have a place like this in Charleston that continues to show up, stand proud, and bring people together.

The one bouncer with the orange hair and mullet is very homophobic and disrespectful. Once I was in there it was very fun but that one bouncer was very rude to me and my brother who is openly trans.

Saturday night here is life! Friendly bartenders, excellent drag and very well priced drinks! Very chill on a Sunday afternoon too if you just want to play pool and hear good music! Will definitely be back!

I hate leaving reviews except when it’s needed. This was THE gay bar for the PRIDE parade during a RAINY day that DOUBLE charged an entry fee for SUGARY drinks. I would’ve had better luck just walking in and out a liquor store 👎

Getting in, it was pretty much standing room only. Found a corner to watch a great show, but had an overall terrible experience.
The bartender heavily overserved a patron my group was standing next to. After he kissed necks, tried to stick his hands down our pants, and then almost puked on us, we finally found a new spot. This dude then threw his drink on us, and it took the DJ to address the situation, and get that dude out. It's incredibly irresponsible to allow someone to get that wasted.
Attending the show was fun otherwise, and the DJ rocked it! He was the only one who apologized, and we're thankful he was accessible at the time to help de-escalate.

Came here for pride with my friends the bartenders were unapproachable, unprofessional and highly biased.
My friend and I are poc's and one of their bartender specifically made us feel very uncomfortable and unwanted.
After getting into the bar he tried to I'd us a second time even this we already got cared. My friend id has some wear and tear and he pressured her to ripe the film off her id. I tried to hold him accountable after he tired to keep her id. He was very argumentative and verbally elevated the situation and kicked us out. The bouncer that checked us in did a 360 and said he never checked out id's.
Overall for my first experience highly underwhelming. To think this gay bar would be a welcoming place. Just Disappointed in the management and staff.
Shoutout to Connor for being one of the coolest bartenders we’ve ever stumbled across! This place had a real “locals” feel, where everyone knew everyone.
