Traveling through the state. We stopped at Dukes. I appreciated all my favorites my mom used to cook. The fried chicken was the best with their signature sauces. There wide string beans were tender with no strings, delicious. The long ribs were good but the short side was tough. The pulled pork was good, so was the fried fish. The sides were all good. Okra, black peas, Mac n cheese, collard greens, slaw with a loaf of white bread on the table. We will be back!

As a Texan when a restaurant is calling itself a barbecue restaurant you would think their would be barbecue,but NOT at this place. The staff were nice and working hard,but the place missed the mark. $14.50 per adult was avarge The desserts were the best part of this meal. Small dinning room,so do not go during the lunch hour.

My wife and I had lunch here last Friday. OMG...the buffet was outstanding! The BBQ and fried chicken were delicious, but the real star was the fried flounder! It was the best fried fish either of us had ever eaten! All of the entrees, sides and desserts were well worth the $20 price. A lot of food to choose from. And the sweet tea was fantastic too! Highly recommend dining at this fabulous restaurant!

We lost our Dukes here in Beaufort awhile back. Decided to give this one a try after a recommendation from one of my Drs. @MUSC & was not disappointed! Yes the price has gone up quite a bit but still a good value! Took one star off because the food could have been a bit hotter but will definitely go back for our bbq fix during our trips up to Charleston! Edit: went back & everything was nice & hot!! Both staff & fellow customers nice & friendly! Got the 5 stars!

All you can eat buffet is all I need to say. The food is okay but in my opinion I've had better BBQ. The staff was very nice and kept all of the food stocked. The restaurant was a little small but had a constant flow of people in and out so seating was not an issue. I don't know if I'll be back anytime soon but it was a good meal when needed.
