Duke’s has the best Southern food in Charleston! The BBQ, fried chicken and sides encompass what’s been served on tables throughout South Carolina for centuries. They have a great buffet and dining room as well as outdoor tables. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This is where the locals eat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best comfort food in the area. Great variety of offerings. Limited inside seating, but worth the wait. Come hungry and leave happy!

We found this gem while in Charleston for the day. It happened to be a restaurant listed in the area we were hanging out in and what intrigued me initially were the words “buffet” and “bbq”, naturally. My honey and I were plotting a speedy exit if we got a weird vibe and upon entry we were greeted by a very friendly cashier.
