$28...$28 for a hamburger with bacon, fries, and the last slice of cheesecake. I asked for my fountain drink cup. Oh, it didn't come with it. $28, and I get a water cup. East Bay Deli, I'll never step foot in one again.

I normally order a Cuban sandwich here. This time, the Cuban did not appear to be toasted and pressed at all. Was very disappointed for this visit sandwich wise

I got broccoli and cheese soup and it was delicious if a tad on the salty side. I also got a giant baked potato with cheese, sour cream and bacon. It was also good but I don't know if I'd get it again. I will say the bacon on that potato was the star! It wasn't just the usual bacon bits or even strips of fried bacon that's been chopped up. Oh no! It was hunks of thick bacon pieces, some of them were the size of my thumb nail bed and as thick as the tip of my pinky. The bacon alone is what made the potato worth the cost.
Maybe it's a weird side note but I also enjoyed the music that was playing. I heard everything from Cat Stevens to Sixpence None The Richer.

I went in around 8:30 pm. I ordered a chicken caesar salad with tomatoes. Price was almost $15. Fairly expensive but I said, it's probably a big salad. I should've known something was up when I picked up my order and it was rather light. When I got home and opened it, I was wrong. It was small AND they gave me looks like Thousand Island dressing. I just moved so I don't have a fridge stocked with extra dressings and I do not care for Thousand Island. ? The grilled chicken was cut up fairly small. Although it was seasoned, it was very dry and rubbery. I tried to eat it but I couldn't. I gave up on it and tossed it. I'm highly disappointed and it's now too late to return it to be corrected.
