Over priced, poor tasting, food. Inviting atmosphere and live music was great.

Absolutley Elegant place. Nice menu , friendly staff, good food & great service. The lady volinist playing there made our vist there so enjoyable! Well done!

The afternoon tea was absolutely outstanding. I have tree nut allergy, and they were so willing to accommodate my allergy. We also had a child, and they served her a special tier made just for her. Our waitress Rachel was so informative and helpful with choosing our teas and explaining the tea accompaniments. The snacks were not only beautiful but also delicious. I would highly recommend an afternoon tea experience here!

We made reservations and arrived on time however the hostess stated she didn't see that there were reservations made. We provided her the proof on our phones and she shrugged and said “sorry, it must have not come through”. She then said it was probably their fault but there was nothing she could do. what?! We walked to Slightly North of Broad and they seated us immediately. If you see proof that the reservation system you require the public to use showed the reservation...common sense and good custom service should have. you seat this reservation rather than shrug your shoulders, admit it was probably the restaurant's fault and not do anything about it.

The wait staff was excellent and the violin music set the atmosphere! The stuffed pickle appetizer is not to be missed!

A $45 "Charcuterie Board" (served on a plate) is made up of Wheat Thins, Saltines, a handful of mixed Nuts, 4 slices of Prosciutto, 4 slices of Salami, and some Green Olives. Looks like it was thrown together by a 12 year old. Frozen pizza/flatbread sold as homemade Everything is store-bought frozen, and sold as fresh... 100's of better options in the city

Amazing place for food and relaxation. Love the relaxing music. Rachel and Ken best service. Was sitting outside with my Doodle, and they gave her a water bowl with ice cubes. Will be back ....

Wonderful experience. Rachel and Ken provided amazing service to us. They have a small outside seating area and gave our dog a water bowl. The Eggs Benedict was probably the best I've ever had. Would definitely come back.

We came to East Bay for dinner. Upon receiving the total for the evening, we were surprised about how high it was. This was due to the built-in 20% tip. Which is acceptable, as the service was good, but they made no mention or indication of this anywhere, nor did they provide any sort of bill or reciept before prompting you to pay with the kiosk, that then prompted an additional tip. So they milked a 40% tip out of us. Oh well, the food was decent, but strongly recommend against the crab cakes.

Our second time eating dinner here. I had an excellent steak. The food is so delicious and the service is perfect. This is a family run establishment that makes you feel right at home.

Afternoon Tea at East Bay Meeting House was wonderful! If you are looking for a delightful cozy treat in downtown Charleston, it is well worth it. We loved how thoughtful, but also unpretentious it was. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was low key but unique, since it is located in the historic part of downtown. The tea selection was lovely, a nice mix of caffeinated and herbal options, many locally made for them! The afternoon tea treats on the tiers went from savory to sweet and were delicious. Mini ham and cheese bites, potato curry wraps, cucumber and salmon lettuce wraps, chai bread, blueberry scones with crème fresh, cookies with lemon curd, and more! We each had our favorites and did not walk away hungry. For a truly fun and notable experience, I would highly recommend!

The food here is lack-luster and portions are small. A very disappointing meal for $50+.

The Ambience was amazing, charming. Food & drinks were top notch, fresh. One gentleman was from Boston so it felt like home. Service was superb, intimate. If I was local to the area, this would be place I would go for a bite & drink with my wife & friends for a few laughs in a relaxed, feel like home environment. Bonus: the kids loved their “kids meal”

A little bit disappointing to be served a frozen chicken burger, when ordering chicken cutlet sandwich. The service wasn’t the greatest either it was slow considering there had only been maybe 4 tables that were in here while we were.

A bit of a shame the location and atmosphere is great. It is a cute little gem. I would only suggest be more clear on the menu… and more attentive to your patrons.
