Food was delicious and reasonably priced at 20 - 30 for entrees. Service was excellent and it’s spacious enough to have quiet conversations.

Great upscale neighborhood vibe. Service is amazing! Appetizers and entrees were phenomenal. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates and chicken & waffle dish. The desserts were okay, for as outstanding and flavorful as the apps and entrees were, the desserts were not as flavorful. Blander without much of a flavor profile and depth. I would still highly recommend Edison's tho, for the apps, entrees and atmosphere.

Edison is one of our regular go-to places. Food is always great, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable (especially when compared to downtown).

Came here with my family, it was delicious! We had Ava as our server and she was amazing. Gave the best service. Will be back and will ask for her!

Gnocchi corn & crab meat was awful. No flavor, no crab meat, barely any corn and Gnocchi was undercooked. Butter bean soup was good flavor but mostly just broth.
Had high hopes on this place, but unfortunately it's over rated.

Excellent food and friendly, knowledgeable service. Take a scenic drive from Charleston accross the marshes to James Island for a change of scenery.

We had goat cheese app, pork tenerloin, shrimp pasta, and chix/waffle. All delicious! Fried chicken with the waffle was 10x better than fried chix at Leon's Poultry and Oysters.

Nice little wine list. Location of actual restaurant and the building itself is clean and nice but unremarkable.

Loved it. Had pho tacos, sweet potato fries, scallops, and short rib with grits and it was all excellent.

My most favourite restaurant, not only in James Island, but in all of Charleston. I’ve been a customer since the day they opened and have been more times than I can count and can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal at Edison. Everything on the menu is incredible. I’m constantly talking this place up to friends and coworkers when they have loved ones in town or just for a great date night spot. Chelsea and Joel are the sweetest souls on the planet and the entire waitstaff are amazing. Stop reading reviews and just book a reservation!

The food, atmosphere and quality is not even close to what is promised on this restaurant's website. Also the owner, Chelsea is dishonest and disrespectful which makes for a poor experience in customer service. I would not recommend the food because it lacks flavor compared to the many high quality restaurants that you can go to in the Charleston area.

This is a great date night spot and much closer than going downtown (and far leas traffic). We made a family night of it and from the moment we walked through the door we had a great experience. The brussel sprouts were a great starter and the steak frites hit the spot and I had leftover steak for breakfast the next day. My daughter loved the Edison bulb for dessert and I managed to find room for some cheesecake.

The atmosphere and ambiance is cozy without being pretentious, despite the upscale food and wines. Definitely give them a shot if you’re in the area.

I wouldn’t eat at a place owned by people who trash Charlie Kirk’s name and are too ignorant to understand his message of love but instead spread the hate and lies they accuse him of. Disgusting post by the owner of this restaurant.
