Great upscale neighborhood vibe. Service is amazing! Appetizers and entrees were phenomenal. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates and chicken & waffle dish. The desserts were okay, for as outstanding and flavorful as the apps and entrees were, the desserts were not as flavorful. Blander without much of a flavor profile and depth. I would still highly recommend Edison's tho, for the apps, entrees and atmosphere.
Excellent food and friendly, knowledgeable service. Take a scenic drive from Charleston accross the marshes to James Island for a change of scenery.
We had goat cheese app, pork tenerloin, shrimp pasta, and chix/waffle. All delicious! Fried chicken with the waffle was 10x better than fried chix at Leon's Poultry and Oysters.
Nice little wine list. Location of actual restaurant and the building itself is clean and nice but unremarkable.

My most favourite restaurant, not only in James Island, but in all of Charleston. I’ve been a customer since the day they opened and have been more times than I can count and can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal at Edison. Everything on the menu is incredible. I’m constantly talking this place up to friends and coworkers when they have loved ones in town or just for a great date night spot. Chelsea and Joel are the sweetest souls on the planet and the entire waitstaff...
