Good food but it is over priced. I had two street tacos and a Mexican Coke. My husband had three tacos with rice and beans and guacamole plus a small amount of sour cream and a Mexican Coke. We finished off the lunch with some churros and ice cream. We were shocked to find that the bill was $73 and some change. Like I said the food was good but was not worth the $73 we had to pay for a lunch. We felt swindled.

I used to love this place. I remember it being a welcoming environment. However, we ordered a family dinner and my children went to pick it up and were treated incredibly rudely, all because one of your employees got the order wrong and proceeded to blame them for it. The server also attempted to charge them for additional items that were not ordered. It is sad because my children used to love your restaurant, and brought us and their friends there.

Be forewarned; menus shown on Google are old. There is no longer lengua nor cabeza. I went there specifically for these things and ended up disappointed. I've eaten plenty of good mexican and tex-mex all over the country and this is neither. I honestly hope the rating this place gets isn't indicative of the overall quality of Mexican food in Charleston. Salsa was banging, but chips were dry and overcooked. Small portions of cheap sides like beans and rice. Service was great however. Then paying my bill and I question that the price of something differing from the menu and am told that is a menu "error". Well...it might haven been or you might have just raised prices which I have no problem with, but get a pen and update your menu.

I wanted to try some delicious birria tacos for the first time. It was not giving. Sorry but not sorry i ordered the birria taco especial to go $20. Tacos was cold, dip sauce was hot, i did my order online, but tracking wasnt working. So i had to call the resturarant 30 minutes later after i realised they hadnt started my order. So i called i had to tell the representative what I ordered all over again. And it was done too quick.

The food gets 2 stars because the flavor isn't bad, just don't expect any of it to be cooked to order. Everything tastes and feels like it's reheated in the microwave. We got the birria tacos and the street corn esquites. The street corn was literally just microwaved canned corn, with some cheese and spices on top. The tortillas taste like they've been sitting for hours or maybe even since yesterday. Everything basically tasted like leftovers. Also, our drinks didn't come until we were half way done with eating, and our server barely checked on us and they weren't very busy at all. Sat for 20 min+ after eating just waiting for the bill.

Very dirty and unsanitary. The owner does not abide by health code standards and the corrupt sheriff helps her get away with it. Don't eat here unless you enjoy the taste of roach feces.

My kids and I go at least 3 times a month! Such good food!!! Their food is like eating back in Mexico at your abuelitas house. So yummy!
Not to mention the service! They always take care of their guests and check in multiple times! Sandra, Mari, and the dude behind the bar have the best service!! Not to mention that the lady that does the cooking gets right to it, serves everything nice and hot, and gives you plenty on your plate!
Always a pleasure to go back!
