First time trying El Pollo Guapo. Had a late lunch 3pm on a Monday. My wife and I both had tacos with fries and rice. The filling in the tacos was ok but the shells were stale. The fries were extremely oily and overly seasoned and the rice tasted like instant that was reconstituted hours before and left under heat lamp. Overall a very disappointing meal. And all the reviews I have read are good reviews. Will never go back.
Holy gluten free, Batman!! 10/10 recommend. Amazing food, fast service, clean restaurant, etc. All the good things!! The plantains and crispy Brussels were so good!!!
I am local to James Island and found this place through Instagram and it was the best discovery ever!! The food was so fresh, tasty, and unique! This may be our new favorite place on the island. I’m so glad I found it and I can’t wait to go back.
