Been here before and loved it. Problem is that open table table allows reservations to be made while the place is closed for renovation! Arrived to find the place shuttered. Better coordination needed between the app and the restaurant management.

Brunch service was & Is Above Expectations.
The people dining along side of me made the experience elegant & quaint. My glasses were never empty.

Fried green tomatoes were fantastic. Veg risotto was great.

Be aware it is NOT dog friendly restaurant and extremely rude manager! Went there after having just adopted a one pound 8 weeks old Chihuahua from a shelter and Jason made us sit outside in the horrible heat and surrounded by flies. When we complained he told us to get out of the property (what a jerk!!) I told him that I wanted to pay the check and he refused to give me instead he called the cops on us I could not believe it! When the cops came I explained the situation and they apologized to us. I paid my bill and left. Horrible experience!!! I will sue them for treating us so horribly.

Honestly, I am very disappointed. I went here when I was 18 (~8 years ago) and loved it. This place has gone downhill. The drinks are mediocre and the atmosphere is dull. The bathrooms are dirty and honestly, it was an embarrassing experience.

Best restaurant ever. Amazing experience overall. We made a reservation the day of a couple hours before and had low expectations, but this place blew us out of the water. Our waitress was phenomenal and the food was nothing but perfect. Definitely recommend here if you want a high end, small and quiet dinner here in

Closed but never contacted guests to let them know. Eli's planned to close for renovation -- but never bothered to tell guests with reservations so we all got screwed for dinner in the high season. Yes, the restaurant was still accepting reservations 3 weeks out and even 2 weeks out on Open Table. And when we called to inquire about parking 1 day in advance we got voicemail; voicemail again day of our reservation advising us to reserve via Open Table. Eli's Mobile site -- which most folks would be using on vacation -- NEVER advised the restaurant was closed for reno. Social media NEVER advised. Voice mail NEVER advised. For a company that owns and operates 5+ restaurants in the Charleston area this is UNACCEPTABLE. Called to corporate office and reached a woman in HR and told us someone would call back. No one did. But Eli's updated its social site about the closing a couple hours later. Can only conclude business is so good for the restaurant group that new customers don't matter. Will never eat at any of the groups eateries. I will spend my $ where I am appreciated.

I hate to write a fair review because the host and waitress was so wonderful. The beignets were fabulous. But everything else was just okay. And they were out of a couple of items and the pancakes tasted spoiled. So many better options in Charleston. Sorry.

Every person in our family enjoyed their meal. Great cocktails. Amazing entrees. The beignets were delicious. We ordered the fondue appetizer, Ribeye , Vegetable truffle Risotto, Salmon. Restaurant came highly recommended by friends and it did not disappoint!

The food was very good but my server Brandon really made the experience enjoyable. I took my mom and my fur baby and we sat in the courtyard for brunch. It was a really good experience and we will be back!

I was not disappointed in my meal. I cook a lot myself and have a lot of dietary restrictions but was able to find plenty to eat. The food was excellently prepared. The service was fast and attentive.

The waiters and waitresses were absolutely amazing and were very friendly! We loved the beignets most definitely! Made delicious and powdery taste with cooly sauce! Pasta was amazing as well! Thank you for adding enjoyment to our visit to Charleston!

Parking: Parking is a little tough in Charleston, but you will end up finding parking somewhere (mostly costing money) within a few blocks.

6:30pm Reservation. We were pleasantly greeted by host and staff upon entering. Nice, casual bar/restaurant setting that looks inviting. Food was good, but mediocre for Charleston standards. Only 3 tables of patrons for dinner…which is a dead giveaway! Very limited dinner menu. Out of Caesar Salad for Sunday dinner! Ribeye was very good! Roasted chicken unappetizing, and server claimed favorite dish!? Our sever, Hailey was very sweet and nice, but obviously not very well trained by management. Didn’t know how to open or pour a bottle of wine. Flies swarming inside window, which was quite concerning. I’d stay clear if wanting a fine dining experience. Many other exceptional places nearby.
