Famulari's Pizzeria: Cainhoy

I may be bias because I used to drive for the Summerville location but this food is great. I love the cheese bread and 10" pizza, both are great for a lunch treat. The marinara sauce is hands down the best. Made in house and it shows in the taste.

Food is good but not worth the wait since yu receive zero communication after you pay...

I felt like I was in north charleston with the multiple people smoking 5 feet within the front door... the young gentleman behind the counter was so high he could not even understand reality... avoid this place

Fast good service only flaw is they need to stop adding water to the sweet tea to stretch it out. Someday it's pure water...NOT what I pay for!

Their pizza is usually pretty good, but came on a random weeknight and got the stuffed meatball app with a burger. Meatballs weren’t hot, cheese wasn’t melted at all and just tasted bland. The burger took 40 minutes and the bun was stale. Underwhelming visit. I guess stick with pizza when ordering.

I’m going to start off talking about the food because was some of the best pizza I’ve had. My whole family loved it too. The ranch was delicious, for the ranch lovers out there. On my pizza I added ranch to my base and it was chefs kiss. And our order was accurate!! It was really easy to order online and they even let you split the pizza for toppings. Which is great for sharing! ☺️ cute place on the inside, smaller for sure. The patio was super cute!!

But the service…🫣 I’m going to rant a little… we placed our order and it said our food would be ready at 6:28pm. I got there a little after 6:30pm and they told me it’d be another 15 minutes. I did add some cheesy bread right after placing my order… so I thought no big deal. I come back in around 6:55pm just to give a little extra time… for them to tell me it’s be ANOTHER 15 minutes. It was no big deal if it wasn’t going to be ready until 7:15pm… but I just wish they would have said that upfront or when they called to confirm the order around 6:20ish!! I would have left my house sooner if I would have known and not sat in my car waiting. Once they gave me my order I asked if I could get 3 ranch’s (PSA they’re $1 each), I paid for it and she then decided to grab beers for people who had just sat down at the bar. Before grabbing the ranch. I’m not trying to be a Karen but jeez there absolutely NO sense of urgency whatsoever. Lesson learned… they take their timeeee!!

The pizza isn't bad at all, but the poor service and unprofessionalism is hard to forgive. Don't order from here unless you have an hour to kill waiting for your order. And don't expect them to offer you a drink while you wait or an apology for their screw up.

Everytime me and my wife go here the food is great as well as the service. Lisa the bartender is the greatest! Highly recommend for great apps, pizza and burgers.

Famulari’s has some of my favorite pizza in Charleston! They even have gluten free crust which I typically get for my husband! I’ve tried the Summerville location and this one on multiple occasions. All for takeout and with online ordering. Every other time I’ve ordered from this location, my pizza has been delicious and consistent. This has become my go-to pizza place because of all these amazing things.

I was incredibly disappointed tonight when I got home and one of my pizzas was not only missing a topping (pepperoni) but also was sloshed, messy, and not cut all the way through and the other also to be made incorrectly or rushed perhaps.
I hope to see more consistency in the future.
