Alexis is a consummate professional who takes pride in every dish or meal she prepares. I recently tried her bourbon flavor salmon and shrimp salad on top of mixed greens with sweet potato cubes, avocado, candied pecans, and a Champagne vinaigrette dressing. OMG, delicious to the last note!!!!

Well I must say, I’m not typically a fan of seafood but what I tried here was nothing less than amazing.

The innovation and thought put towards the food is clear by their presentation and taste of food.

I got to try the seafood stuffing and it blew me away. The flavor lingered in my mouth urging me to want more.

This is my reasoning for 5 stars. The presentation, service, taste and quality of the food.

Farrah’s Backyard Catering catered my recent baby shower and the food was a HUGE hit! Alexis was extremely kind and genuine, she made the entire planning process a breeze. She was even better in person the day of the shower! She made sure we had literally everything we needed, it was a gorgeous set up. Everything was SO delicious and I really enjoyed Alexis’ company as well. She felt like a friend at the shower! I gave her info to at least 3 people who requested it at the shower, I highly recommend!! Thank you so much for contributing to our special day!

Alexis will make your guest talk about the food for DAYS after your event. We hired Alexis for our surprise wedding and she exceeded all expectations. Her presentation, professionalism, and attention to detail made her a pleasure to work with. Even if presentation isn’t important to you, Alexis does EVERYTHING with the end result in mind. She understood my vision and took initiative on creating a set up me and my guests loved. I can’t thank her and her team enough. She’s worth EVERY PENNY.

My wife organized a 70th Birthday surprise party for me. Farrah's Backyard Catering was contracted to provide Quality food for this Special occassion. The menu was coordinated with Alexis, exceeded expectations. The Quality of each dish, totally satisfied every quest in attendance. Her staff, arrived promply, set up the area of food accordingly which allowed a perfect dinner for all. I would highly recommend this company as the Professionalism, the Price and the Quality far exceed expectations.

Not only are they great people but their commitment to giving their clients the best of the best which just don't exist anymore. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 35 years. I have worked with a lot of catering companies here in Charleston area and also in Maryland and DC area including high-end hotel and by far, the food, safety, guest commitment, and working with them, seeing and feeling the pride, love and the hard work ethic giving their all to making the guests special event the best it can be. Their just is no words for the passion and love they put in their and company. It was a true blessing working with them.

Owner Alexis, husband Herb and Father Murry serve up INSANE FOOD!!! I don’t know where to start… the fresh fried fish from Murry was some of the BEST fish I have ever tasted. The smoked chicken was juicy and bursting with flavor. The mac and cheese, super creamy and the fresh green beans ON POINT!! Red rice was also incredibly flavorful and all delicious!Lovely staff and a wonderful Family catering business and service that was a pleasure to have at the event. A+ Service A+ Food A+ Staff. Highly recommended for any event you are hosting!
