The pizza here is fantastic! Definitely worth stopping by for lunch or dinner. Ask for Rebecca S if you can - she was amazing!

Pizza was good!!! service was not good at all:( we had to wait to be seated with a reservation, got to our table, the table wasn’t even set yet. They set it up in front of us and then we waited so long the table across from us even asked about a waitress because we had been waiting so long to be welcomed and seen. Our waiter checked in maybe two times the whole time we were there and was the bare minimum of friendly. We were really sad about this experience because we were so excited about this restaurant! The pizza was yummy and flavorful but sadly didn’t have a great experience.

Stopped by Frannie & the Fox for breakfast with my friends while on a girls trip. We sat on the patio and had the best experience, the food was phenomenal and I highly recommend the hash browns! Jimmy was such a joy, he was knowledgable about the menu and the area and a really kind server with great recommendations on food and Charleston in general. The atmosphere was great and I would absolutely come back to breakfast!

Frannie and the Fox is a cute restaurant inside the Emeline hotel. I ate the chicken Milanese. It was amazing! Our server was really good, very attentive and friendly. The inside/outside dining area is perfect for beautiful days. The fireplace was warm and welcoming on a cool night. Highly recommend stopping in.

Great place! Very modern and beautiful on the inside. We started with the mussels and whipped bone marrow. Caesar and chopped salad and then 2 different pizzas. Food was excellent as was the staff. Highly recommend!

We had a truly memorable evening at Frannie & The Fox. The food was wonderful, with rustic, wood-fired Italian fare made with a clear passion for ingredients and simplicity.
Walking into the elegant, artful space tucked inside Hotel Emeline immediately transports you to a cozy European courtyard complete with string lights, vintage décor, and a lovely wraparound courtyard with a fireplace that invites lingering conversation.
The menu is beautifully curated, full of crowd-pleasing options that feel both inventive and comforting. Whether you’re into pizzas topped with taleggio and honey or crave shareable delights like crab fritters or meatballs, there’s something that hits the spot for everyone.
Beyond the food and design, the attentive staff elevates the entire experience with warm, effortless hospitality. A place equally suited for a casual lunch, lively dinner, or intimate night out, Frannie & The Fox strikes a rare balance between comfort and culinary artistry.

Restaurantji Recommends
The atmosphere at Frannie and the Fox is absolutely fantastic – I especially loved sitting out on the patio, which made the whole experience so enjoyable. The restaurant itself is stunning, and the hotel it’s located in is just as beautiful.
The only downside to my visit was the service. My waiter forgot to bring me a drink I ordered and never checked back on us for refills or to see how our food was. Also, for families dining here – there’s no children’s menu. They do offer pizza, but unfortunately, it’s not available gluten-free. Since my children have celiac disease, that made it tricky for us.
Overall, it’s a gorgeous spot with a lot of charm, and I can’t wait to go back for dinner and try more from the menu!

We stayed at the Emeline Hotel and popped into its restaurant and bar. Lively beautiful atmosphere. Only issue was the bar staff was not as friendly as other places we went in Charleston. Otherwise, a lovely place at a beautiful boutique hotel.

Don't Miss Frannie and the Fox!
My experience at Frannie and the Fox was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. We started with the meatballs, and they were some of the best I've ever had. The pizza was equally impressive, with a delicious crust and high-quality toppings. You can tell they use great ingredients in everything they make.
What truly set our visit apart, though, was the incredible team. The service was incredible, attentive, and friendly without ever being intrusive. I have to give a special shout-out to Kayla, who was incredibly kind and attentive. And a huge thank you to Chef Paulo! The passion he has for his food is evident in every single bite.
If you're looking for a place with a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and a team that goes above and beyond, you have to go to Frannie and the Fox. We're already planning our next visit!

We had brunch here after touring Charleston this morning. The food, service and atmosphere were out of this world! We had our kids with us and can’t wait to come back for a date night! I forget the servers name and his trainee but they were both very kind and knowledgeable. We had the Margherita pizza, Meatballs, and bruschetta! My drink was the closing argument and it’s one of the best drinks I have had in a long time! I’d add photos but don’t see an option to.
