The restaurant is gorgeous. We had reservations, but it did seem like they forgot us for a few minutes when we arrived. The restaurant wasn't full at all when we were finally seated it was pretty busy. My friend has the steak and said it was fantastic. Me and my other friend choose the different pizza pies. They were tasty just nothing super memorable. The service was slow and we weren't checked on. We had to ask for the check even though our waiter had done the spiel for dessert and coffee. All in all nice spot but not something I feel like I would return back to.

Steak was overdone and was only 3 ounces. Manager kept coming over and waitress ignored us for an hour, charged 48$ for a steak and three tasteless carrots and three underdone sticks of broccolini. Don’t go here, overprices and awful service

We came to this restaurant hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in some key areas. Despite several empty tables inside, the host initially refused to seat us indoors. Since our kids were hungry, we decided to order takeout. Strangely, once our food was ready, the host allowed us to sit inside to eat it.

The pizza was excellent—our kids loved it! However, the tomato soup was a major disappointment. It was heavily flavored with fennel, making it taste more like fennel soup, which the kids didn’t enjoy at all. When we raised our concern about the soup, the host dismissed it, saying she couldn’t do anything about it.

Overall, we felt like the host didn’t care much about ensuring a positive experience for us. From the seating issues to the lack of responsiveness to our feedback, it left a sour impression despite the good pizza.

Excellent Christmas dinner at Granite and the Fox. It's a fun lounge-style atmosphere, great waitstaff. The food was quite good, not exactly excellent, but very good. The swordfish was nice and juicy, taleggio pizza was nice, the ravioli was my favorite and very delicious. Also nice NA selection. It would have been nice if there were more options for vegetarian, gluten or dairy free, especially in the deserts. Overall great meal!

Dietary restrictions: Not many options or variations possible for gluten free, dairy free or vegetarian.

This restaurant was highly recommended, but the food was short of exceptional. Appetizers were well rounded- roast beet salad (loaded with goat cheese/ maybe a little less might work better), mozzarella platter with ham and pickled veggies was good. Margarita pizza was just another one, we have had better, roasted mushroom pizza was okish. Rigatoni with lamb was good. Service was slow probably because of the holiday season??? Anyway, there’s room for improvement.

Kid-friendliness: Staff is friendly and accommodating for kids.

We made breakfast reservations here for Christmas 2024. We have eaten and stayed here in previous years but this will be the last time. We ordered the Clock In Breakfast and our eggs arrived cold/undercooked, toast was greasy, and it was over 30 minutes before my husband got his first lukewarm cup of coffee. This restaurant is part of a hotel and we expected to at least have warm/cooked food in a 200+ room hotel.

Had a Holiday dinner with about a dozen friends that was set up a few weeks ahead of time. The restaurant required us to have a pre-set menu for our group of 12. This wasn't exactly what we wanted, but they were very upfront about this requirement. The food was served "family style" and while the salads were very good. Most people liked the sides, however the 3 main dishes were very disappointing. The pasta seemed to not have salt added to the water when cooking, as the taste was bland. The Steak was cooked very nicely, but was tough and bland. Finally, the chicken had a nice breading on it, but again was tough and lacked flavor. The desserts were very rich, but enjoyed by most everyone. For the price we paid for 12 people, we expected the food to taste much better than it did. I would say it essentially tasted like a bland wedding buffett. The service was average, nothing amazing but also nothing bad. Having been here before for dinner, I can't recommend it for a large group, as the food is MUCH better when ordering individually. I assume this is because everything is cooked way ahead of time, which really was disappointing.

Food was ok. I expected it to be better or more expanded flavor profile. It’s cute in there, but just ok in the food department. A little dark on the back wall. Could used a bit better lighting. Nice where the booth are
